Description
2005 FLEETWOOD SOUTHWIND 32VS - WORKHORSE W22 - FULLY REMODELED WITH MAJOR OFF-GRID ELECTRICAL BUILD
68,023 original miles. 32'6" Class A gas coach on the Workhorse W22 chassis with the 8.1L Vortec V8 and Allison transmission - the drivetrain combination most owners prefer in this generation. Two slides, hydraulic leveling, dual roof A/C, Onan generator (runs and tested), full body paint, King Dome satellite.
THIS IS NOT A STOCK 2005 INTERIOR
The coach was fully remodeled approximately five years ago and shows far newer than its year:
- White shaker-style cabinetry throughout, with black hardware
- Wood-look plank flooring
- Poured epoxy countertops - the swirl pattern is intentional, a custom pour, not damage
- Leather theater seating with power recline and cup holders
- Updated bath with vessel sink, patterned tile surround, round mirror and modern vanity lighting
- Rear bedroom with built-in desk and workstation, six-drawer dresser, wardrobe cabinets, and a hidden TV
- Upholstered valances and updated window treatments throughout
Look at the photos. This is a coach someone lived in and cared about, not a flip.
THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IS THE REASON TO BUY THIS COACH
This is a proper off-grid build, engineered and installed correctly - not parts zip-tied to a wall:
- Victron MultiPlus II inverter/charger
- 6x Battle Born lithium batteries
- 600W rooftop solar
- Two Victron MPPT charge controllers (100/50 and 100/30) - correctly sized for the array with headroom
- Victron Cerbo GX system controller with full remote monitoring through the Victron VRM portal - watch your batteries, solar production, and shore power from your phone from anywhere
- Touchscreen control panel at the entry door for water pump, water heater, and lighting
- Proper busbars, DC disconnects, and a battery monitor shunt
- All cable runs loomed, clamped, and labeled
- Whole-house water filtration
You can boondock on this system for days without starting the generator. Building this today would run well over $10,000 in parts alone, before labor. The solar controllers were recently replaced - the system is complete, current, and fully operational. Photos of the electrical bay are included; if you know what you're looking at, you'll understand what you're getting.
DISCLOSED UP FRONT
I would rather you know now than discover it at the walkthrough:
- The ABS warning light is on. Wheel speed sensors have been replaced multiple times and the light persists, most likely the brake control module. The service brakes function normally - this affects the ABS system only. The coach is priced accordingly.
- Tires are approximately six years old. Good tread, no visible sidewall cracking, but they are aging and a buyer should plan to replace them.
SOLD AS-IS, NO WARRANTY
Clean title in hand. Priced honestly and priced to sell. I am the owner, not a dealer, and I am happy to spend as much time as you need walking you through the electrical system, the remodel, or anything else. Serious inquiries welcome.
