Description

The asking price is actually less than what I spent on upgrades and replacements just during the past year (81) - my age dictates that I must retire "prematurely" from this wonderful camping and travel experience

This 2002 Winnebago Adventurer 32 V - 2 slide-outs and 4 stabilizers - (bought used from Camping World in 2016) is in excellent condition, with nearly every major (and minor) original component replaced and upgraded. Well over $ 35,000 have been spent since 2016 just for that purpose (including upgrading from 30 to 50 amp, as most 32V models sold were only 30 amps), new refrigerator, microwave, electrical system (transfer switch, inverter, integrated surge protector, etc.), new awning with automatic retraction, etc. - In the past 12 months alone the basement air conditioner/electric heat ($7,500), Combustion Manifold ($5,500) and Slide-out Seals ($ 1,200) have been replaced and new 4-camera system ($1000) has been added. A Centramatic automatic wheel balancing system ($700) was added 2 months ago, the tires should give you at least another 5 years. Additionally, included are all the things you need to function and enjoy. I will gladly send you details of all the improvements and replacements that I have done.

The engine has 131,000 miles on it (about 75K by me), and I quote from Google: "A well-maintained Ford Triton V10 engine, often found in Ford trucks and some RVs, can typically last for 200,000 to 300,000 miles before needing a rebuild or replacement". This engine has been serviced and maintained by the local Ford dealer. This, as all 2002 Winnebago Adventurer 32 V models, has been exceptionally well-built, with a multitude of unique features (see floor plan in pictures).

This offer is for a somewhat older motorhome, but one that is almost new under the skin! I had planned to keep it for a few more years, but: I returned June 22 from a 6,000 mile round trip to Yellowstone National Park and discovered that at my age (81) it makes sense to "retire". This Motorhome is "ready" to travel immediately, fully equipped with all the items needed for hook-ups, towbar, etc.
