Description

We are selling our 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty King Ranch Pick-up and 2013 Arctic Fox 811 Truck Camper. The truck and camper have been teamed together for the last nine years and both have been well cared for and continually improved.
Truck: One Owner, garage kept, 2015 F-250 Super Duty King Ranch, Crew Cab, 156 Wheelbase, Short Bed (81) Powered by a 6.7L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel, six speed automatic, four-wheel drive, 3.55 limited slip axles, electronic locking rear axle, electronic engine brake, remote start, FX4 protection/traction package, rapid supplemental heater, extra heavy-duty alternator, power up-fitter switches, and a moon-roof. It was ordered from the factory with both the 10K GVW and camper suspension options. These combined mods equipped this truck with the very same suspension (springs, stabilizers and overloads) that come standard on the F-350 The trucks emissions system has not been modified in any way, and will pass emissions testing without any worries.
The truck has a variety of mods to make it excel at hauling a heavy and tall truck camper. The rear suspension was professionally modified by Rocky Mountain Spring and Suspension to increase the overload capacity by 2600 pounds. Factory overload springs were replaced with a custom package that added seven overload springs to each side, allowing the bed load to ride on the overloads and main springs instead of the air bags. The Air-Lift brand 5000-pound air bags, with onboard compressor and remote, were kept in place to add stability control and tuning on the fly. A Helwig Brand Big Whig sway bar was added to counter the dynamic roll of a tall load.
Hauling capabilities were further enhanced by the addition of a 50-gallon Titan Fuel Tank, S&S Diesel CP-4 Fuel Pump Disaster Prevention Kit, Banks Ram Air rear differential cover and Amsoil Synthetic Gear Oil, and two new 65 Group AGM 12-volt batteries, Console Vault locking console safe, Weather Tech interior floor covers, original King Ranch carpet floor covers, Rhino Liner sprayed in bed liner, ¼ thick bed mat, Torque Lift frame mounted truck camper hold downs, 7-plug power connection plug mounted in truck bed, Curt 34 type 5 trailer extension tube for towing (plus tension chains & adjusters), Peragon FS-2B aluminum retractable, lockable, and removeable bed cover. Its all riding on four new (less than 10K miles) Good Year Wrangler A/T, Load Range E, Kevlar belted radial tires, and a Michelin Load Range E spare thats never been on the ground. The truck has been meticulously maintained, using only the very best Amsoil premium grade full synthetic oils and filters. Air filters and fuel filters were also changed right on schedule. The truck has been very well cared for and is in like-new condition. The mileage is 111,000, which most folks will say is just broken in for a Ford 6.7L Diesel. The power and torque are impressive, and under normal conditions, we average 12.7 MPG with the camper. The 50-gallon fuel tank gives you about 650 miles of range, while also having room to purchase lower cost fuel when you see it.
Camper: The Camper teamed to the truck is a 2013 Arctic Fox 811 Four-Season Aluminum framed slide-in style truck camper with a single slide out on the passenger side, and a rear awning. The camper is equipped with a kitchen, LP gas stove, LP oven, 110 VAC microwave, LP/12-volt / 110 VAC Refrigerator/freezer, LP/12-volt/110 VAC hot water heater, wet shower, full sized toilet, pantry, central heat, air conditioning, rear awning, 2500-watt LP gas generator, two 30-pound Propane bottles, and two 12-volt air exhaust fans. The camper has 2 thick Styrofoam insulation throughout, so winter camping is not a problem. It also has surprising tank capabilities, with capacity for 50 gallons of potable water, 40 gallons for gray, and 22 gallons for black. There are tank level and battery voltage gauges on the control console.
Electrical system mods allow you to run all the 110 VAC appliances, such as the roof air conditioner, microwave, and refrigerator on solar power, while still charging the batteries. Camper is equipped with two solar panels, 30A solar controller, 5400W inverter, air conditioner soft-start, and 2 AGM batteries. This solar allows full use of A/C powered devices during sunlight. The mods, valued at over $4K, were installed by an Arctic Fox dealer. The camper is fully power independent, without the generator. The remote start LP Cummins 2500W generator has only 45 hours of running time in ten years. There is a 30-Amp electrical surge protector with shore power monitor to protect the electrical system.
Other mods are a Fox Landing rear porch and step (value $1300), a remote TV camera (value $200) that plugs directly into the Ford tail gate plug. A Sleep Number Brand Queen-size mattress complete with compressor and remote controls. A 12V TV that has a built-in 12V DVD player mounted on a swivel mount, and plugs into the onboard sound system for far better sound quality. The camper has a new Winegard Brand 360 TV antenna, with a wi-fi antenna. Heating is controlled by an automatic thermostat. There is an interior/exterior temperature meter. Safety gear includes a smoke detector, propane detector, CO detector, and three portable fire extinguishers. The potable water system has an under-sink carbon filter. The bathroom features an energy efficient shower head. The rear entry door has a new door lock with key, keypad, and remote.
The camper is attached to the truck by four Torque Lift Fast-Gun stainless steel connectors, complete with four security locks. The camper includes a Stable Camper Brand stabilizer system (value: $450) that is a series of four adjustable aluminum arms that limit camper swaying when it is dismounted. These are camper body mounted and store easily while the camper is on the truck. The camper includes a new freshwater supply hose, a freshwater pressure regulator, freshwater tank connector, and a 25 long 30 AMP electrical wire. The camper includes two 10 long waste hoses (slinkies) for draining waste tanks, and all the fittings necessary to connect the waste hoses. The camper also includes a variety of levelling ramps and blocks to help you get things level. We are also including a used camper cover that has about two seasons left on it. This camper is all set and ready to go camping. We will be happy to demonstrate how everything works and show you how the load the camper onto the truck.
A new King Ranch Diesel goes for about 85K and a new Artic Fox 811 goes for 48K. You would then have to modify both the truck and camper to function together effectively. Truck mods would cost you ~$5,500+labor, and camper mods would cost you ~$6200+labor.
