2018 GRAND DESIGN SOLITUDE 344GK — RARE FULL BODY PAINT!

If you've been looking for a clean Grand Design Solitude but don't want one of the massive 40+ foot fifth wheels, this 2018 Solitude 344GK might be the sweet spot.
 

At around 37 feet overall, the 344GK is one of those floor plans that's not too short and not too long. You still get the space and residential feel you expect from a Solitude, but in a much more manageable weight, overall length for towing, maneuvering and getting into campsites.

But what really makes this particular 344GK special is the Full Body Paint.
At the time of posting this, this is the only Solitude 344GK with Full Body Paint that we could find advertised online. Full Body Paint was an optional upgrade on these coaches and is not something you see very often on any model!
 

Inside, the 344GK gives you a great rear kitchen layout with three large slide-outs, a great desk and workspace, a huge kitchen island, solid-surface countertops, an oversized pantry, an 18 cu. ft. four-door refrigerator, microwave and professional-style stainless cooktop and oven. There's plenty of counter space and storage, built in trash and recycle making this a kitchen that actually works well for longer trips and extended stays.

The living area has the residential feel Solitude buyers are looking for with solid cabinetry, a fireplace, large entertainment area, theater-style seating and plenty of room to relax or entertain. The 101-inch widebody construction and opposing slides make the center and rear of this coach feel much larger than you would expect from something at this length.

Up front is the private master bedroom with plenty of wardrobe and storage space, washer and dryer prep followed by a spacious bathroom with a large residential-style shower, vanity and linen storage.
Outside, you have that gorgeous Full Body Paint, along with 6-point hydraulic automatic leveling, two power patio awnings with integrated LED lighting, frameless tinted windows, huge pass-through storage, heavy-duty 7,000-lb axles and a drop-frame chassis.
 

The 344GK was also built with Grand Design's Weather-Tek package, including an enclosed and heated underbelly, heated tanks and storage area, tank heaters and substantial insulation throughout the coach. Add dual 15,000 BTU air conditioners and this is a fifth wheel designed for considerably more than just weekend camping.

You aren't trying to pull a 41-, 42- or 43-foot fifth wheel everywhere you go, but you're also not giving up the big kitchen, opposing-slide living area, private bedroom, large bathroom, huge storage and residential amenities that make a Solitude a Solitude.
It's just a really nice overall unit.
