Description
2002 Winnebago Brave Same Family Since New Always Stored Covered Many Upgrades
Very nice 2002 Winnebago Brave Class A motorhome with an excellent ownership history and numerous upgrades. This RV was purchased new by my uncle, and I later purchased it directly from him, so it has essentially remained in the same family since new and we know its history.
One of the biggest advantages of this RV is how it has been stored. It has always been kept under a covered RV carport when not in use, protecting it from direct sun, rain, and weather exposure. That has made a significant difference in its overall condition compared with many RVs of this age that have spent their entire lives sitting outside.
We have continued to maintain and improve the RV during our ownership, including several upgrades to make it more comfortable, reliable, and easier to maintain.
Upgrades & Features
Upgraded 50" front TV
Upgraded 32" rear TV

Upgraded tankless propane water heater
New bathroom shower skylight
New tires
New stainless-steel exhaust
Suspension airbags front and rear
Transmission upgrades and shift kit
Freshly serviced generator
Built-in battery charger/maintainer for both the engine and coach batteries
Rooftop A/C filtration converted to use standard replaceable air filters that can be purchased at virtually any hardware store
Mechanical & Coach Condition
This motorhome is in very good condition for its age, and all of the major systems and components are in good working order.
The engine and transmission run very well, the generator operates properly, and the leveling system works as it should. The rooftop air conditioning, heat, plumbing, toilet, shower, water system, and other major coach components are all operational.
This has not been an RV that was simply parked outside and neglected for years. It has been covered, maintained, serviced, and upgraded throughout its life.
Full Disclosure
The dash/engine A/C is currently not working. The cab heat and defrost work very well. We have always simply run the rooftop A/C while traveling during hot weather, which has worked well for us, so we never felt the need to repair the dash A/C.
We want to be completely upfront about the condition of the RV. This is a 2002 motorhome, so it should not be expected to be perfect or compared to a new coach. However, it is a very clean, comfortable, well-maintained older Winnebago with a known history and a considerable number of upgrades already completed.
The combination of same-family ownership since new, lifetime covered storage, good mechanical condition, new tires, upgraded interior, tankless hot water, suspension upgrades, transmission upgrades, and numerous other improvements makes this a very nice example of an older Winnebago Brave.
If you're looking for an affordable Class A motorhome that has been properly cared for and is ready to enjoy, this one is definitely worth seeing.
Clean, comfortable, well maintained, always stored covered, and ready for its next owner.
