The Big Bear Vans Santa Monica is a true family camper built inside a compact, approximately 19' AWD Ford Transit.

Unlike many Class B adventure vans that dedicate the rear to a raised bed and gear garage, Santa Monica creates TWO usable levels in the same space.

Raise the electric elevator bed and underneath is a large family dinette for eating, working and relaxing. At night, the dinette transforms into a 68" x 54" bed, while the 73" x 54" elevator bed lowers above it.

The elevator bed features our exclusive slide-out side extensions that create a firm, full-width bed base when deployed, then retract to maximize space during the day.

The massive 1,200Ah lithium bank recharges while you drive, giving you exceptional freedom from hookups. No propane and no traditional generator means no generator vibration, exhaust or constant noise.

The advanced glycol system combines cabin heating and water heating, giving you comfortable heat plus hot water for an instant hot shower while traveling. With 30 gallons of fresh water on board, this van is made for real off-grid trips.

A REAL FAMILY LAYOUT

Four people can travel, eat, relax and sleep comfortably without moving up to a 22'-24' RV.

The double passenger seat behind the driver swivels to become part of the living area. It can also be REMOVED and replaced with a storage bench or additional kitchen galley for owners who only need seating for two.

This is not a typical mass-produced RV interior. Santa Monica combines thoughtful residential-style design with materials selected for strength, weight and durability.

Cabinetry is constructed from lightweight, sturdy premium plywood with beautiful bamboo elements, quality hardware, integrated lighting and carefully organized storage. The bathroom features a durable aluminum shower rather than a basic plastic RV enclosure.
