Some people want to pick out a camper 1st, then get the truck to match it after buying a camper.
Not available from 30 Aug thru 5 Sep. Ill be out on a cruise ship with almost no cell phone service.
The Host Manufacturing Cascade model RV is the perfect layout with a queen bed and dual sliding door wardrobe in passenger side of the cab over. Also, there are cabinets on the passenger side of the queen bed. The main living area has a L-shaped dinette with a multi adjustable/swinging table. The dining table also makes into a small bed. This camper has very desirable DUAL RECLINERS situated in front of the TV. It has dry bathroom (separate show and toilet area). There is a very large pantry (4-door) in the kitchen along with a microwave / oven combo that runs off the inverter. What makes this camper special is the HUGE holding tanks for total off grid camping. Fresh is an incredible 65 gallons, 45 grey, and very large 30 gallon black to keep you out off the grid having fun without having to dump tanks or get water every 3 days. The 760 watts of solar keeps the system going for what seems like forever. I have done almost 4 months in a single trip of camping without plugging in! The Cascade has two MaxxAir fans to move tons of air through the RV. It also has dual pane windows and solar reflective tenting (factory option) to keep the heat out or cold in. Internally enclosed holding tanks in the basement with heat to allow 4 season camping. The camper has StableCamper support legs to stabilize the camper when needed. We take the camper off the truck when camping about 90% of the time. It has a wireless jack system to lift the camper to load and unload the camper without any tools. It has wireless 4G router to reach to reach cell towers far away and make a hotspot in the RV (sim card required). Additionally, it has a satellite TV antenna; never used. For serious off grid camping, the RV has a built in Onan propane generator which runs off the two 30 lb propane bottles. This will run the AC for quite awhile when you need AC for longer than the battery will provide. It comes with an electric fireplace that make heat and has a thermostat built into it. The heat is a good way to go when in a campground and using the campgrounds electricity instead of the your campers built in propane furnace. The Cascade has a HUGE slide out cargo tray in the basement for carrying everything you need such as outdoor carpet, screen rooms, BBQ, tools, and whatever you need.
Yes, you will need a 1 ton truck for this camper. On the manufactures sticker, it says it weighs 4,200 pounds. My personal 2019 Ram 3500 says it can hold 5,500 lbs. My Cascade is in pretty good shape, but its not perfect. It has little dings in the cabinetry, etc. Everything works, nothing is broken, does not leak, roof appears to be in very good shape.
Here are some of its many top dollar options.
Air conditioning.
Built in propane generator with less than 50 hours on it. RV has two 30 pound propane bottles, not small 20 pounders many other RVs have.
560 Ahr lithium battery. It is about 1 year old.
High power battery charger. If needed, can put power back into the battery quickly. I think its 100 amps! Although the solar does keep up with almost all use inside except the air conditioning.
760 watts of solar (4 x 190 watt panels). Also has 4 independent Victron Smart solar charge controllers to get max power from each panel. All are Bluetooth to an app to allow you to measure and see solar production of each panel.
Victron Bluetooth shunt to measure battery power going in and out and an accurate fuel gauge for battery capacity remaining.
SeeLevel holding tank gauges to give fresh, gray, black holding tank levels by 1% increments instead of 5 lights (F-3/4-1/2-1/4-E) most RV have.
2000 watt DC to AC inverter. Runs everything in the RV to include the air conditioner off the batteries!
Instant on water heater.
RV stabilizers for when its on the ground: StableCamper brand, the #1 option.
Dual pane windows with factory heat reflective coating (slight gold tint viewed from outside).
Other options.
Satellite TV, WIFI booster with cell phone modem when sim card inserted.
Propane furnace.
Electric fireplace with built in heat/thermostat. Can be operated without the heat on for ambiance.
12 volt DC powered compressor fridge (no propane) that is very cold. Compressor fridges work faster and get colder than propane.
Electronic key pad door lock with remote key fob.
Black tank wash / rinse.
Swing out brackets to fit single or dual wheel trucks.
Each slide out has its own slide topper to keep debris and rain off the slide outs.
Electric awning on passenger side.
Dual basin sink.
LCD TV in the living area.
LCD TV in the bedroom.
