Description
Fleetwood Nitrous Hyper Lite 5th Wheel Toy Hauler Rare Under 30'
*** Trim Correction*** RV trader does not have the proper trim model number for me to select. This trailer is actually the 265FSX trim
If you've been looking for a 5th-wheel toy hauler that isn't 3540 feet long, you know how difficult they are to find.
This Fleetwood Nitrous Hyper Lite is only about 28' long, yet still gives you a full rear ramp, open toy-hauler floor plan, onboard Onan generator, fuel station and all the normal RV amenities.
It's an especially hard-to-find setup for someone who wants the stability and towing characteristics of a fifth wheel without pulling a massive trailer.

CONDITION
Overall it's in good condition for its age and the exterior still presents very well.
The roof was resealed approximately 34 years ago and has been good since.
There was a previous leak around the front roof vent above the bed. The leak was repaired, but it caused some warping/delamination to the shelf in that area. The roof and ceiling are solid. I'm disclosing the shelf damage so the buyer knows exactly what they're getting.
The A/C, furnace, refrigerator, water heater, fuel station, landing jacks and stabilizers are all working.
ONLY KNOWN ISSUES
I want to be upfront about everything I know of so there are no surprises:
1. Awning - The awning was left out during a rainstorm and the support arms were bent. The awning still works, but it doesn't latch properly and doesn't roll in or out as smoothly as it should.
2. Previous roof vent leak - Years ago, there was a leak around the roof vent above the bed that caused water damage/warping to the shelf above the bed. The leak was repaired and the roof was subsequently resealed. The shelf still shows the cosmetic damage.
3. Generator - The onboard Onan generator has not been run in several years. It ran the last time it was used, but I have not attempted to start it since. I would recommend having it serviced before trying to run it.
4. Cabinet doors next to stove stop are missing.
Those are the only issues I'm currently aware of. Otherwise, the trailer is in good overall condition for its age and the A/C, furnace, refrigerator, water heater, fuel station, electric front landing jacks and manual stabilizers are working.
Tires were replaced approximately 57 years ago and have been covered while parked. They look good, but due to their age I'd recommend inspecting them before any long-distance trip.
Wheel bearings and brakes have not been recently inspected or serviced to my knowledge, so I would recommend checking those as normal maintenance as well.
WHY THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT
The big advantage of this trailer is its size.
Most fifth-wheel toy haulers are considerably larger. Finding an under-30' fifth wheel with a rear toy-hauler ramp is extremely difficult, especially in this price range.
You get the versatility of a toy hauler without having to store, maneuver or tow a 3540+ foot trailer.
Great setup for motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs or other toys, or simply use the open rear area for extra living and camping space.
