This has been an exceptionally reliable, meticulously maintained van that has taken me all over the country without issue. Every scheduled Mercedes Sprinter service has been performed on time by authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships, and I have complete service records from original purchase onwards.
A comprehensive pre-sale inspection of the Mercedes Sprinter chassis was completed by Mercedes-Benz of Morristown on July 29, 2026, including a road test. And no relevant fault codes or mechanical issues requiring repair were identified. (Complete inspection report available with the service records.)

All appliances run perfectly: Fridge Induction stove top convection/microwave combo oven Cabin AC Water heater Cabin heat (runs on propane, which it sips very slowly! can run for ages without filling propane again)

The power system very efficiently recharges your house battery every time you drive (about 10% recharge for every 10 minutes of highway driving) and the solar panels on the roof help stretch that charge out when you aren't driving. In 6 years I've probably plugged into shore power a handful of times. The power system is that good, only need to plug in if you're going to sit in the same place for more than 4 or 5 days using a lot of appliances, or more than a week being conservative with power usage.

Power awning, ceiling power vent and bug-screened side and rear doors that let you enjoy fresh air while keeping insects out. This has always been a non-smoking vehicle.

Has never spent a winter on the east coast, so never exposed to salt on winter roads etc...

CUSTOMIZATIONS:
On top of the Winnebago Boldt build out of the the Mercedes Sprinter chassis, I built a customized mahogany platform in the back for working and sleeping. You could easily take it out if you wanted to, but I find it beautiful and super practical!

I also modified the traditional flush toilet to a dry/composting toilet, because I find it way easier to deal with. I found it stressful to be limited to sites where I had to find a liquid dump station. The dry toilet frees you from that. But I have the original flush toilet too, so you could easily swap it back in if you wanted to.

I also made the sliding door manual, because I found the auto-slide function, which flashes the headlights every time it is activated, to be a drag, particularly when parked in campgrounds, or in stealth boondocking situations.

All around amazing vehicle, which has served me incredibly well on many life changing adventures. Two bumpy patches on exterior finish at bottom of driver's door and passenger door, where I clumsily removed Winnebago branding. Minor nicks and bumps here and there, a 1" starburst on the windshield... Other than that, exterior is in great shape. Tires have plenty of tread. I LOVE this van! Only selling it because I just moved to New York City and its just no longer practical for me to keep. Hoping to find its next wonderful owner!
