1986 Toyota Winnebago

I bought "Winnie" in May 2021 in Chattanooga, Tennesse and completed a 100% restoration of the coach/cab in July, 2022. She is a southern camper with zero rust underneath which is pretty rare for a 1986 Toyota truck. The mechanical are in excellent condition with receipts for all work performed and all parts installed.

During the restoration, I replaced most of the insulation, built new wall frames inside the coach then replaced the entire back wall and entire ceiling area including new ceiling beams and added LED lights internally and new LED marker lights and brake cluster light externally. I replaced all of the 1/4" luan plywood with new and installed a new luxury vinyl floor. I have multiple pictures and videos of the restoration and was very careful not to add weight.

Since the restoration was completed in August 2022, we have visited 33 states and travelled over 32,000 miles in Winnie without a single problem while taking somewhere between 65 and 75 camping trips. We are only selling because we bought a new four season travel trailer and don't have room for two RV's.

Mechanical:
- Six new tires July, 2026.
- New Engine Fan Clutch 2024.
- 3 New Drive belts 2026.
- New spark plugs, wires and dist cap 2026.

- New K&N rechargeable air filter 2023.
- All fluids changed annually (transmission fluid and filter, rear differential, power steering, brake fluid and engine coolant). Last all fluid change was April, 2026
- New radiator 2022.

- New transmission mount 2024.
- Cab air conditioner was serviced and converted to 134a refrigerant, the cab a/c cools exceptionally well.
- New Shocks and struts in 2022 and 2025.
- Seven new tires in 2023.
- Wheel bearings lubricated in 2023.
- Front end alignment 2025.
- New fuel tank 2025.
- New fuel pump 2025.
- New fuel sending unit 2025.
- New fuel strainer (inside tank) 2025.
- New brake master cylinder 2024.
- Two new napa batteries 2023.
- New fuel pulsation dampner 2024.
- New two stage thermostat in 2022 and in 2025 (22RE engines run warm so a two stage thermostat keeps the operating temps lower).
- Oil changed every 3k miles and only Toyota OEM oil filters used (important for 22RE).
- New muffler and tail pipe 2025.
- New engine gasket cover 2025.
- Seat covers has been recently replaced when I purchased Winnie in 2021.
- New front rotors, front calipers, brake hoses and front brake pads 2024.
- New headlights 2024.
- New circuit breakers for coach 12 volt battery system 2026 and new battery isolation solenoid July 2026.
- New blower switch for cab fan 2024.
- Windshield is original with no chips or cracks.
- Dash is in excellent shape with no crack or splits.
- Camper has been kept under cover since I purchased it.

Coach:
- Professionally installed, new and upgraded power converter, July 2026.

- 2 inch receiver hitch installed which we use for a bike rack.
- New microwave 2026.

Additional:
I removed the original four burner gas stove to add counter space since we use an induction cook top. I removed the fresh water tank, and water pump to use that space under the dinette for storage. Those items will be included with the sale. We prefer to use the dinette as a sofa with pillows so a new 8 inch foam twin mattress and matching Eddie Bauer camping sheets will be included with the sale.

Water heater and propane heater are original and we have not used them since restoration. I believe all are in working condition.

Vehicle is in excellent condition and has been maintained as such. Vehicle is turn key with all maintenance and preventative maintenance performed and is road ready for any destination you wish to travel to. I listed some pictures showing gray wheel covers but she currently has black wheels and will be sold in that condition. Winnie brings lots of smiles on the road and lots of positive comments at gas stations and grocery store parking lots.
