2019 Tiffin Phaeton 40QKH
This is by far the best RV I have ever had. When I walked in it for the first time, I was amazed at the beauty of this models interior. I absolutely love this RV. Ive spent the last 2 summer & fall seasons traveling to new places and have loved it. However, it is time for me to take a different path in life. I am now 72, and ready for international travel. I really do not want to sell it; however, it makes sense at this stage of my life.
This coach has always been stored indoors both by me and the previous owner. Currently it is stored in Naples Florida in a 45-foot RV-Port. Good news it does not sit under the sun! The only time it is outdoors is when we are traveling. This is the perfect RV for a family or if your family is grown up, the Bunk beds are perfect for storing suitcases or other stuff that you just cant seem to find a space for in other RV models.
If you have guests, they can keep their stuff in the under-bunk space that easily opens. The bunks can also be used to hang clothes. Notice the picture of the big full-size closet in the master bedroom. You dont find this too often in RVs now-a-days. I love the kitchen counter space as well as the two pantry pullouts.
This RV has almost everything. 10KW Onan generator, Cummins 380 HP (42,780 Miles), New Front tires on 9/24/2024 with only 12,000 miles on them. A Steering stabilizer in case of a front tire blow-out, Heated Floors, Residential Refrigerator, Tire Monitors, Washer and Dryer, Aqua Hot Water System (Heats Floors, Heats RV, and all the Hot Water you can ask for), Heat pumps in all 3 air conditioners. This RV is all electric, no propane!
Notice the custom desk I had made to perfectly match the cabinetry. I worked while on the road. I loved this desk! This is my second Phaeton 40QKH. If I ever get back into RVing, I will pick this same model again and build another custom desk. It cost me $5,000! I looked at a lot of RV's even new ones. I believe this RV is extremely dependable and has much more storage than all of them.
If you notice in the pictures, there are cabinets everywhere. Even below in the basement, there are a lot of places to put stuff including the two full length sliding pullouts. Another great thing about Tiffin is their customer service. You can call them for simple things that you are trying to figure out. A tech will get on the phone and guide you through the solution to issues that come up. I am amazed at how they always know where they want me to start, and I just follow their directions until the issue is fixed!
All in all, you will be proud of this Motorhome. It has everything your home has and more. I have kept detailed service records and receipts. After my last trip, up the east coast for 5 months, I had it completely serviced. Had everything done possible. It cost me $18,000 at North Trail RV in Ft Myers. I always service it once a year for engine and generator. If this RV is for you, you can rest assured that this RV is in top shape. When you go on the road you will have no worries.
If you research this RV, you will find that this is a top-rated built RV. Thor bought Tiffin out in 2020. This RV was built by Tiffin. All the journals will tell you that this is the last year that you had the quality building of the old Tiffin Company.
When you see my service logs, you will see that maintenance was very important to me. Tires were purchased on 9/9/2024 and only have 12,000 miles on them. On 10/25/2025 North Trail RV in Ft Myers installed 6 new no maintenance batteries, complete Freightliner 30K service including engine and generator oil, lube, filters, Differential fluids changed, & 4 wheels alignment $3,000, Engine AC compressor $4,631, Complete lube slide outs and jacks, Roof AC maintenance, New Windshield, etc. Total was $17,137. The windshield was covered by insurance so there was no cost to me for it.
You have two options: I took out the small love seat and had a custom desk made that looks like it was made by Tiffin. I work on the road, and it is perfect! You can keep the custom desk and use it as an office while on the road, or you can buy the love seat originally there, and convert it back the way it was. If you like to work or play games on the road, this coach is PERFECT!
Lastly; this RV has a $10,000 Harley/Motorcycle lift on it. It is called the Hydro Lift. I will take it off and resell it, if you do not have a need for it. It can probably be converted to a golf cart or storage lift. If you want, you can buy it from me for less than what I paid for it. It is hydraulic and works great!
