We waited for the 2025 models to come available from the factory, as we wanted the Freightliner Detroit Safety Assurance package which includes lane assistance and collision mitigation by using multiple cameras around the rig. Also new for 2025 was disc brakes all around instead of just the front. Freightliner also moved the Allison transmission shift control from the dash to the steering wheel column. The coach entry door width was also increased for 2025.
The VERONA LE 40LRB offers a spacious interior due to triple slides with high-end finishes including polished solid surface countertops, porcelain flooring, tile backsplash, solid maple cabinetry, and soft close dove-tailed drawers. The kitchen comes equipped with top-of-the-line residential smart wi-fi appliances and electric fireplace, as well as a recessed induction cooktop. Custom factory options include special tile and counter colors and hardwood matching ceiling vent covers in the living and bedroom areas. The over-cab bed provides additional sleeping option and includes own TV and power shade for the ceiling window. The dinette seats 4 adults comfortably and drops down for addition sleeping option. The bedroom supports a King bed, TV, ceiling fan. The adjoining rear bathroom includes a porcelain macerator toilet, beautiful shower and ample storage and countertop. Need to wash clothes, no problem, just toss them in the stacked washer/dryer. Water is no issue with the 150 gallon water tank.
Internet? No worries, the rig is set up with Starlink for streaming on any of the 4 TVs. Just get a subscription for service.
The dual-pane tinted windows and (2) AC units will keep you cool in the summer. For warmth and water heating, there is the larger Aqua-hot 450 ready for a steady supply of hot water or keeping the heated floor toasty in the winter.
It is a breeze to set up. Dump the suspension if necessary, then let the auto leveling jacks do their magic, extend the slides, and in 10-15 minutes, you are ready to enjoy your stay. The coach sits on a Freightliner M2 106 Plus chassis and supports an 8.9 L Cummins engine delivering 360 HP and 1150 lbs. of torque. It is a pleasure to drive. Enough power to pass many semis on the hills, even towing a loaded Jeep Gladiator. The cab side windows have been tinted as well. The wheels are mirror-polished Alcoa with Michelin tires. This rig turns heads on the road or in the RV park.
As for the outside, The Girard LED-lined awning and outdoor TV will make entertainment a breeze. All outside storage units are locked and lighted for security by the touch of a button.
To power the rig whether going down the road or even boon-docking, there are (4) 200 watt solar panels on the roof. charging (3) high capacity Lithium batteries and second inverter, and if needed, the 8 Kw diesel generator, which only has ~3 hour of run time. Electric cord and water hose are on power reels. All functions can be controlled by multiple touchscreen in the coach, or from you smartphone with the Vega Touch App.
