We've loved our all-silver T@B trailer, which we bought used for a special anniversary trip when we were 71. Ten years later, we want to opt for a yet tinier teardrop, which Gary can SEE over when he backs it up. We won't be able to stand up inside to put our pants on, but at this stage we still want to camp, yet downsize.

The old girl has her idiosyncracies, which we won't conceal -- but she's got a lot of good trips in her yet. She's cleaner than most, as we never used the potty at all, instead turning the bathroom into a temporary closet. She has an accessory tent room and a zipper cover. She also features a radio/cd player for entertainment as well as heating/air conditioning, an excellent 2-burner gas stove, and a refrigerator.

We outfitted her with new tires in 2025 and have used her perhaps 3 times a year over the last decade. It's time for her to go to (likely) younger people who want a teardrop trailer at a good price, to bring the kind of traveling fun we have enjoyed.

T@B teardrop quirks or issues

Ceiling fan works, but not consistently. We suspect a bad switch.

Dutchmen latches on the window on the door side were of poor quality, were replaced once, broke again, and appropriate parts were impossible to find. The window now is properly opened and closed and secured by exterior bolt latches we installed.

The original centrally-placed tongue wheel got bent beyond usefulness. Jacks to fit the central aperture could not be found. We installed a much beefier jack on the side of the trailer tongue.

The plastic trim at the very right rear of the trailer has a dent in it. If this cosmetic flaw bothers you, a clever handyman could probably fix it.

Fuse box: It was originally at floor level. The cover would not stay attached, so fuses constantly fell out, getting kicked or lost. We therefore had an electrician move the fuse box to the countertop over the heating/AC unit. There are no longer electrical issues.

Taking the T@B on rough UT and WY back roads caused some pieces of the interior window frames (which hold screens and shades) to fall off. Weve fixed every one, all work as intended! However, the T@B prefers paved highways to washboard dirt back roads.

The extremely heavy (maple) potty-room door simply came off its hinges on the first dirt road we took the trailer on.  The door comes with the unit, and it could be replaced if one wishes. We turned the potty room into a closet, installing a clothes rod and hanging fabric door as well as a complement of plastic storage drawers. This comes with the package.

We removed the interior water tank to provide more interior storage space, i.e. we never used the sink. We have the tank, which comes with the package.

The fire extinguisher is about 5 years old, NOT the original, but a replacement.

T@B Advantages or pluses:

Tows beautifully. Fits in most garages.

Interior gas stove and heater work beautifully. Weve never tried the A/C or refrigerator (which we use for storage) and instead use YETI coolers.

Radio and CD player work/

Tires are 2 years old, should be good for a minimum of 10 years, spare is excellent and unused. Battery is about 3 years old.

Weve never used the toilet, instead using campground facilities or a portable job, positioned over a dug hole.

We have the exterior tent room with supporting poles, tire covers for outside storage, as well as a total trailer cover. The trailer also came with a complement of hoses, which weve never had out of the bag they came in.

You can stand up in it (unless youre really tall) to get dressed in the morning.

We installed an excellent screen on the door to keep out bugs. Works great.

Buyers can pay buy a cashiers check from a reputable bank.

All in all, this T@B is a good value.
