Description
2024 Rossmonster Baja LX Expedition Truck Camper
17,800 Miles | $329,000
If you're looking for a fully outfitted, adventure-ready truck camper that can comfortably handle extended off-grid travel, this 2024 Rossmonster Baja Trail LX is ready to go.
Built on a 2024 Ford F-350 Lariat, this truck combines the comfort and amenities of a small RV with the capability of a highly capable four-wheel-drive truck. Over the last year, I've traveled throughout the western U.S. and Baja California with my family, spending months living out of this rig full-time. It has proven to be an incredibly comfortable and capable platform for extended travel.
The truck currently has approximately 17,800 miles, and the chassis is still under the factory warranty from Ford.
The truck is in excellent condition and has been well maintained. It has been garage-stored since December and recently underwent a comprehensive inspection by Van City (an authorized Rossmonster dealer). The inspection included the camper systems, electrical system, plumbing, heating, and appliances. Any identified service items have been addressed, and everything is functioning as intended.
A comparable new Baja Trail build is currently around $384,000. This truck is priced over $50,000 below replacement cost and is fully equipped with several desirable upgrades.

Off-Grid Capability
One of the biggest advantages of this build is the electrical system. With 1,000Ah of lithium batteries, 600W of solar, alternator charging, and a 3,000W inverter, I never had to think twice about spending multiple days away from hookups.
Four-Season Comfort
The AquaHot hydronic system provides cabin heat, heated floors, and endless hot water using diesel directly from the truck's fuel tank. Combined with the insulated hard-sided pop-top, it makes this a true four-season camper.
Spacious Interior Layout
The hard-sided pop-top creates a remarkably open interior while maintaining a low driving profile. The permanent cabover bed means you never have to convert your sleeping area, while the rear dinette quickly converts into a second bed for guests or kids.
Pass-Through
There is a 24" x 36" pass-through connecting the cab and camper, making it easy to move between the two without going outside. It adds convenience on travel days, provides added security, and makes the truck feel like one integrated living space.
Full Bathroom & Large Water Capacity
Unlike many camper vans and truck campers, the Baja features a full wet bath with a 6'2" shower and a removable separating toilet. The 40-gallon fresh water tank supports extended stays off-grid without constantly needing to refill.
Built for Remote Travel
The truck comes equipped with a rooftop mount for a Starlink Mini, an onboard air compressor, recovery boards, upgraded suspension, off-road lighting, camera systems, and extensive exterior storage. Everything is already installed and ready for adventure.
