Description

2004 Fleetwood Revolution 40C Class A Diesel Pusher $29,900

Price just reduced $10,000 for a quick sale.

I recently bought a newer Monaco and I'm not keeping two diesel pushers. I've reduced this coach from $39,900 to $29,900 because I'd like to sell it this month.

As of this listing, it's the lowest-priced 2004 Fleetwood Revolution 40C I could find anywhere in the country. Comparable clean coaches are typically advertised between $46,000 and $55,000.

This isn't a worn-out bargain coach. It's a clean, well-maintained, extensively documented Revolution that's priced aggressively because I want it soldnot because there's something major wrong with it.

The Coach
  • 2004 Fleetwood Revolution 40C

  • 40-foot Class A Diesel Pusher

  • Original MSRP: approximately $254,000

  • Cummins ISC 8.3L 350 HP pre-emissions diesel (no DEF, DPF, or EGR)

  • Allison 3000MH automatic transmission

  • Freightliner XC chassis

  • Air ride suspension

  • Air brakes

  • 31,000 lb GVWR

  • Two slide-outs

  • Sleeps 4

  • 150-gallon diesel fuel tank

  • Onan 7.5kW diesel generator

  • 137,046 miles

  • Clean California title in hand

  • Original factory invoice and build sheet included

Why This Coach

The Cummins ISC is one of the most respected diesel engines ever installed in a motorhome. It's common to see these engines run 400,000500,000 miles with proper maintenance.

Because it's pre-emissions, there are no DEF systems, diesel particulate filters (DPF), or EGR equipment that can become expensive repair items on newer diesel coaches.

The rear-engine diesel design provides:

  • Quieter driving

  • Better ride quality

  • Air-ride suspension

  • Air brakes

  • Excellent towing capability

  • More front storage

Honest Disclosure

I'd rather disclose everything up front so buyers know exactly what they're looking at.

The coach does have a few items that still need attention:

  • 2019 Michelin tires are roadworthy but approaching replacement due to age.

  • Passenger captain's chair needs to be bolted back into place.

  • Dash air conditioning needs a recharge.

  • A few baggage compartment doors need replacement paddle latches.

  • Two baggage doors need new gas struts to hold them open.

  • I lost my spare set of keys. One baggage-door lock will need to be replaced, and the lower entry-door lock will need a new key made. I still have the deadbolt key.

  • Prior owner was a diesel mechanic who performed his own maintenance, so there aren't shop service records.

Mechanically, the coach is in excellent condition. The Cummins starts easily, runs strong, the Allison transmission shifts smoothly, both roof air conditioners work properly, the generator runs well, and the air brake system operates as it should.

Every one of these disclosure items has already been reflected in the asking price.

Documentation

Included with the coach:

  • Original Fleetwood factory invoice

  • Factory build sheet

  • Owner's manuals

  • Inverter manuals

  • Clean California title

  • Bill of sale from my purchase

Financing

Many traditional banks won't finance older motorhomes, but specialty RV lenders often will for qualified buyers. Southeast Financial, My Financing USA, and many local credit unions are good places to start.

Cash buyers are welcome, with same-day title transfer.

California Registration

Because the coach has a GVWR over 14,000 pounds, it's exempt from California diesel smog inspections. It only requires the annual CARB Clean Truck Check.

Location

Located in a gated RV resort in Cathedral City, California, about 10 minutes from Palm Springs.

Independent inspections are welcome at the buyer's expense.
