Description
This Class B motorhome Van is actually a 1997 model year COACH HOUSE 192SD on a heavy duty 1996 GMC Vandura 3500 base with only 44,330 miles on it. This compact yet functional RV van is perfect for those looking to travel and camp with everything in an ingenious compact floor plan. The exterior features the iconic COACH HOUSE motorhome design, while the interior is figured for comfort and convenience. This motorhome has only belonged to two previous owners, and has always been stored indoors or under cover when not in use, so the interior is still in very good shape. All of the original manuals and most of the maintenance records from the beginning have been kept and are included.
The 192SD model offers a cozy living space with all the amenities you need for a comfortable trip. The layout includes a rear dinette area with sofa that can be converted into a large bed, a kitchenette with essential appliances and sink up front, including a microwave oven, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The ingenious interior space design and clever stow away shower allows all of those amenities within a vehicle that can maneuver and park in a typical parking lot space - Amazing!
The engine is a strong 7.4 Liter (451 cubic inches) V-8, and can tow your toy trailer without any problem via the Class III tow hitch receiver. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a cross-country road trip, the COACH HOUSE 192SD is ready to take you there. Newer tires with lots of tread life remaining. Spare tire included, which can be mounted on the rear of the vehicle. Recently installed new main engine radiator. Of course, there is power steering and power brakes. A separate trailer power brake system has been installed to assist with trailer braking if you're hauling a heavy trailer equipped with it's own trailer brakes.
There are two sources of air conditioning. The roof top AC unit, which runs off of land power or the generator (even while on the road), and the dashboard AC, which is available when the vehicle engine is on. Both provide lots of very cold air.
The on-board generator is an Onan Microlite 2800 unit, able to power the roof Air Conditioner, microwave, and other powered components. (Generator appears to be due for service, as it is difficult to start right now.)
The vehicle is self contained with a 40 gallon water tank, but can be connected to land power with the 30-AMP power cord. Deep cycle cabin battery, separate from the engine battery, can be interconnected with a switch for charging and dual emergency use.
Permanently installed propane tank under the chassis is easily accessible for filling, isolating, etc. (FYI, the 3-way refrigerator was rarely used, and currently might not be functioning, so that might need servicing). Extra heavy duty front bumper push guard installed on the front of the vehicle. Many additional accessory items (hoses, pipes, etc.) are included for filling, connecting to RV overnight spots, discharging, etc. (The gas stove is currently inoperable, possibly because the propane gas tank is low on fuel.)
Since the generator and some of the appliances are due for servicing (or possible repair), and other minor things, a $2,000 discount or rebate is offered to cover that, making the effective asking price only $12,500. (Valid this weekend through Memorial Day.)
Permanently installed Fiamma F45 Elegance XL roll out awning is included, attached on the side of the vehicle over the main side cabin doors.
Seating for seven people. Five persons while traveling (three passengers facing forward up front in the two captain's chairs, plus one behind them, and two more can be seated and properly belted at the dinette in the back. There is seating for an additional two more people in the "sofa" adjacent to the rear dinette while parked (but no seat belts there for sitting while traveling).
Overall, this 1997 COACH HOUSE 192SD is a versatile Class B motorhome van that combines style, comfort, and functionality. With its compact size and dependable performance, this RV is the perfect choice for travelers who value convenience and quality, with everything you want in a compact van format, which is a lot easier to drive and maneuver than other large format class motorhomes.
