Travel small without sacrificing comfort. This compact, easy-to-drive Class B RV is built by Jayco on the Ram Promaster 1500 van chassis. At 17’10” long this unit handles like a daily driver - seatbelts for 4, comfortable to drive, easy to park, simple to navigate through curvy, hilly roads, the highway or downtown streets.

The Ram Promaster 1500 is powered by a 3.6L V6 gas engine, with 9-speed automatic transmission and front wheel drive for smooth and efficient driving. It has a 180amp alternator and a 2” 3,500lb. tow hitch system. 

Jayco packed the Comet with all standard and many available add-on vehicle convenience and safety options that make driving a breeze. Jayco added Hellwig helper springs that support the rear and provide a smooth ride. 

Jayco has a reputation of quality backed by 3yr. structural warranty. Ram has a 3yr, 30k mi warranty. 9 months remain on both warranties which pass on to the buyer. This unit has under 12,000 miles on the odometer, is in excellent condition and has been gently used and well maintained.

Jayco thoughtfully designed the inside of this unit using every inch of space to provide a full-service camping experience with lots of internal storage. It’s unbelievable what they packed into this van! Starting in the front, the passenger seat swivels to create a sitting area for 5 with a bench seat and sofa. An adjustable Lagun table with 2 mount options is easy to set up and move as needed. The sofa easily converts to a 54”x72” bed for sleeping. A 32” TV (connected to a digital antennae on the roof) flips down from the overhead compartment for entertainment. The kitchen is located in the middle and has a waist-high 3cu.ft. refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, stainless steel sink (with cover and under cabinet water filter), and a portable induction cooktop (for inside/outside use) which has a place for stowing to free up counter space. The wet bath is in the rear and features a large wardrobe with 3 drawers, shower curtain, privacy doors, cassette toilet, flip down sink with faucet, mirrored medicine cabinet, exhaust fan, and the Aquaview SHOWERMI$ER system (cycles water in a loop until hot to conserve). 

Other coach comforts include the quiet, efficient, fume-free Aqua-Hot water and heating system, 13.5k BTU Coleman-Mach 10 AC, exhaust fan in living area and a 10’ Thule electric awning. This unit has multiple power sources - 30amp shore power, (2)12V AGM batteries with a 1000W inverter, and the Onan 2800W generator. The batteries can be charged by the 180amp alternator while driving, shore power, generator, and/or 200W RT solar panels.
