Description
2014 StarCraft Launch 16RB Travel Trailer
So youve been looking for the perfect small travel trailer to introduce yourself to RV camping? Or to downsize from a larger model? Look no further!
We are the third owners of this 16 foot hybrid camper. The first was an elderly couple who kept it stored inside from 2014 to 2020. The second was a young family who outgrew it. Weve had it for three years now. We bought it as a test bed to see if we wanted to get back into camping. (We owned several motorhomes many years ago.) We have recently retired and have decided that we do enjoy using it and love the fact that we can unhook it at the campground and use the truck to see the local sights, something we could never do with motorhomes. So we will be buying a larger trailer.
.
As someone who has been shopping for months for the perfect replacement RV and tow vehicle, I can tell you that 90% of all listings dont match the actual condition of the vehicle. This is the exception to the rule. If youre looking for the perfect small trailer in excellent condition that is truly ready to simply hitch up and drive to your first campground, this is it. Of course youll have to stock it with your own supplies, but really all youll have to do is run a dust cloth through it and youll be on your way.
Everything works
No roof or other leaks
Exterior - 8.5 out of 10
Interior - 9.5 out of 10
It has not been smoked in.
Never any mice intrusions and no funky smells.
The only feature that leaves something to be desired is the 12 wide awning; the canvas shows wear adjacent to where it attaches to the camper. This is where its always unprotected from the sun, rain, and elements, and it is showing its age, but its still perfectly usable.
Ill let the pictures speak for themselves. Just a few notes to help you in your decision process:
The coach is 15-2 long
Exterior height is 117

The following is a list of all the improvements weve made over the last few years as we used it, fixed a few things, but more importantly, determined how to make it even more convenient and functional for ourselves:
New flexible propane supply line from regulator to house line
New 12 volt battery
New battery box and strap
Master electric power cutoff switch installed in the power panel
Soft start installed on air conditioner (Allows for operation on a typical household 15 amp circuit. Also make it very quiet on startup, no loud slam as the compressor kicks on.)
200 watt solar power battery maintainer installed
Exhaust fan installed in bathroom skylight - it is reversible
LED light fixture installed in bathroom for increased brightness
LED bulbs installed in some interior fixtures
Flat bathroom mirror replaced with a storage vanity mirror
Additional bathroom towel hooks and bars, soap and shampoo racks and one shelf installed for maximum utility and convenience
Two handled shower valve replaced with a single lever valve. (Importantly conserves much water when operating out of only the onboard water storage tank, not city water supply)
Black tank drain line straightened for improved dump drainage
Dump equipment supply box installed on rear bumper
Insulated the kitchen sink (Keeps dishwater hot, therefore conserves much water when operating out of the onboard water storage tank, not city water supply)
Many shelves and racks installed over the kitchen counter area for maximum storage and convenience
Cup and utensil hanging hooks installed for the same reason
Large coat rack/hat shelf installed at the entrance door
Tows effortlessly with my 2000 Chevy Astrovan (4.3 V6) using a 2 ball.
Im sure Ive not mentioned everything about the trailer. Please feel free to text me with any questions. If you phone, please leave a detailed message as I dont pick up unknown numbers. If I dont phone you back immediately, I will ASAP.
No tire kickers please. Its kept in a storage yard, not on my driveway, so showing it involves going to get it, bringing it home, setting it up and turning everything on. I wish I could keep it at home and just run an extension cord out to it and turn everything on to demonstrate that it all works, but my HOA restricts this. So I am more than happy to answer any and all questions you have so you can make an informed, serious decision about if you really want to see it in person. If you have only a mild interest in it, I would rather you express that and we can see it at the storage yard and I can bring my small genny to energize it and show as much function as possible.
Also, no lowball offers. Youll see, this is the one you dont want to get away from you.
And also, I dont need help selling it so no calls from dealerships or other sales agencies, please and thank you.
