Description
There is a reason Laze Daze RVs hold their value - quality workmanship and materials.
We are Australians who wanted to buy the best, quality RV for our American Adventure.
After an exhaustive research before arriving in the USA we decided on the 26.5 Lazy Days Mid Bath, having a fixed dinette and permanent twin beds. Fortunately we found one within days of arriving in LA and we snapped it up because they are quite rare.
It is a 2001 Ford E450 with a 150,000 miles on it, just barely run in.
It is registered in Montana, and can stay registered there, no smog test, on inspection and no annual registration fee, no transfer fee, permanent rego, see photo.
I will get an escrow/closing service to handle the transfer paperwork, security for both sides.
We then had a workshop (who knew the vehicle) replace everything that could go wrong mechanically. Water hoses, fan belt, backwash radiator, water pump, brakes, service transmission ect.
We also had the roof inspected, and while there are no leaks, we had the joints taped (see photo)
The generator wasnt running so we had that overhauled ($2300) and the air-conditioner failed so we replaced that.
The RV has Levelling Jacks that seem to work, but we dont use them.
We had custom mattresss made for the twin beds, they are comfortable.
The RV will be sold with all of the tools and equipment. Including two folding chairs, socket set, hand spanners, battery charger, jumper leads, folding 100 watt solar panel, fan washing machine. Along with pots and pans, and all of the necessary contents of the kitchen. You could just check the fuel and go traveling.
Issues - I had a small prang, see photo and the previous owner glued things to the wall and it left marks, see photo. The electric step failed so it was removed and is in the hatch, if required.
We stored the RV under cover in Texas, but upon our return in April 2026 the batteries had died so there is a new engine battery and two new service batteries.
We have had three years traveling your wonderful country, and now it is time to venture to pastures new.
Its currently mid April 2026 and we will be in California in early September 2026.
We paid $22,000 for it three years ago and would like to get something around that, but were not silly and would accept a sensible offer.
