WOLF PUP LIMITED TRIM PACKAGE
Forest River Cherokee series are known for their good value and this trailer has proven the reputation. The Wolf Pup series is a light-weight, easy-hauling travel trailer with various floor plans. This hard-to-find 16HE Limited model offers all the amenities for comfortable, extended camping, plus some rarities for a compact travel trailer: a comfy sofa that converts to another bed; an 11 cu. ft. (apartment size) 12VDC refrigerator/freezer; and lots of windows (with accordian shades) for a light and an airy interior. It also features a 100W solar panel and deep cycle house battery; lots of inside and outside storage; and folding cargo carrier on the rear bumper.

This trailer has been meticulously maintained. We used it roughly two 4-day weekends a month, so any maintenance issues were immediately addressed, and service records are available. The new (June '25) Goodyear tires (acknowledged to be the best choice for trailers) are a significant upgrade from the OEM tires. The awning fabric and body weather stripping were replaced in July '25, as were the electric water heating element and sacrificial anode. The gray and black water tankage have always been emptied and flushed after every trip. The fresh water tank has been routinely flushed and sanitized. In addition, several upgrades and additions were installed on the interior that add to the liveability: coat hooks; full-length mirror; flip-up counter extension; heat shield behind the cooker; additional 120VAC outlet under the microwave;, gas strut supports on overhead storage doors; and soft-close drawer in the pantry. Outside, we've added a power tongue jack; a weight distribution/stability hitch; and bright LED tail/stop lights. It has a clear title.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
In addition to the extensive OEM feature list, the price includes: a Hughes Electrical, "PowerDog" voltage/amperage monitor/surge protector that can be monitored and reset via blue tooth and a Rhino 21-gallon grey water transfer tank. Together, these are a $500 retail value. In the voluminous storage area under the queen bed (accessible from the lockable outside hatch) you'll find two 30-ft water hoses and fittings; stacker pads; a Rhino waste tank drainage/flushing fittings; two 30 foot, 30A shore power cords -- in short, just add your personal gear, and you're ready for adventure!
