Description
This is a two owner 2015 Newmar Baystar 3124 motorhome in VERY good condition with 30,051 miles that we have owned since September of 2022. We are only selling it because we bought a diesel pusher rig. A current Carfax vehicle history report is available upon request.
Its a 31-11 long, 2 slide rig with a FULL WALL slide on the driver side making for a very spacious feel, and a bedroom slide on the passenger side. No leaks and no odors. Non-smoking rig. Seat and couch upholstery are in very good condition. With a KING bed and a queen size sofa bed it will comfortably sleep 4 people. Weve also used a twin size air bed on the floor in the bedroom for a young granddaughter many times. Typical RV style refrigerator running on propane or electric. Three burner propane stove with oven, and a microwave. Two AC units with heat pump capability. Propane furnace. Propane water heater with electric element for use while plugged in. Tank capacities and overall rig dimensions are shown in one of the included photos. A ton of basement storage, as well as interior storage. Everything works exactly as it should. Living room and bedroom TVs are both new Samsung smart TVs. Dining table with chairs rather than a booth. Two additional matching folding chairs in the underbed storage compartment. The rig is extremely clean and is always kept that way. Carpets just cleaned as well.
If you're not familiar with Newmar build quality (even in their gas motorhomes), do yourself a favor and do a little research. You'll find very high quality hardwood cabinetry thru out, and beautiful full body paint.
It had 8500 miles on it when we bought it in September 2022, and it had a single owner previous to our purchase from Meyers RV in Farmington, NY. At the time of purchase, six new Toyo tires were installed due to the beginning of some sidewall checking. Tire date codes are 1922 (19th week of 2022). Max Air fan covers were also installed at that time.
The generator is a Cummins Onan 5500 with only 182.5 hours.
All three batteries (1 chassis and 2 house) were replaced in March 2023. The motorhome is always kept plugged in unless its out on the road, so a full charge is always maintained.
The Ford 6.8L V10 engine provides 362 hp at 460 foot pounds of torque. An aftermarket custom tune was done using an SCT tuner purchased from 5 Star Tuning primarily to optimize the transmission shift points, as well as provide a slight increase in mileage, horsepower, and torque. See 5startuning.com for more information.
Meticulously maintained by myself, a retired mechanical engineer. Engine oil and filter changes done at 8500 miles, 14,168 miles, 19,439 miles and 26,686 miles. Engine air filter changed at last oil change. Generator oil and filter changed 9/22, 10/24 and 11/25. The nine steering grease fittings were lubed 9/23 and 12/25. New water pump 2/25. Roof gets cleaned twice a year, and roof caulking touched up as needed. Exterior gets washed several times a year, before and after every trip out. Professionally washed, detailed, and waxed once a year. In 11/24, checked the tightness of all electrical connection lugs in the automatic transfer switch and in the electrical panel, as a recommended preventive maintenance item. In 8/24, checked the tightness of all slide motor bolts and all sets of slide drive shaft bearing mounting bolts, as a recommended preventative maintenance item. Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detector, and propane gas detector all replaced.
Several suspension upgrades have been done by me to optimize the handling of the Ford F-53 chassis on the highway. The result is very little push from tractor trailers, and much less push from wind. Nearly $6300 total spent.

Roadmaster #1139148 front anti-sway bar kit. Larger diameter than stock at 1-3/4 in. diameter. Current parts cost $800.

Koni EVO front and rear shock absorbers. These are the very best shocks that Koni makes for the Ford F53 chassis. New 9/25 at $1300 for the 4 shocks and was $475 for a shop install.
RV Snap Pads installed on the hydraulic leveling system feet. Sea Deck custom stair treads installed on the entry steps. A GasStop emergency shut off valve installed on the propane tank to cut propane flow if a major leak or line rupture occurs.
A high quality RV cover in great condition is included.
The front end alignment was checked and tweaked 11/25 by Hawk Frame and Axle.
Sorry, but the flat tow bar set up shown in the photos is not included.
