Description
2008 Roadtrek 210 Popular, built on a Chevrolet Express 3500, 65058 miles
This van has taken me out west to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and the Colorado Rockies, to name a few. It has always been super reliable, while being very comfortable.
Ive had a couple of health issues pop up recently, so it is time to sell it.
I always appreciated that this van was easy and fun to drive, fits in lot of tight spaces, but still had the basic amenities, like hot water, nice kitchen, shower, fridge, microwave, heat, lots of storage and so on.
I updated the looks by removing the swirly decals on the exterior; Class B builders dont use those graphics any more. The interior and dash had phony woodgrain that has been removed.
It has a fold-down spare tire holder that attaches to the rear hitch bracket. I found it cumbersome and difficult, so I removed it. It can be re-installed, if desired. The spare tire is stowed under the rear bench seat. It really doesnt affect the storage capacity of the van, as there is a lot of storage everywhere else.
The awning was removed due to lack of use, and also, it is pretty heavy. It seemed like a waste of fuel to haul it. It is in good condition and can be re-installed if desired.
The interior had a third seat behind the passenger seat. That was removed by the previous owner. I have the seat and all of the parts if you would like to re-install it.
Nearly all of the interior lighting has been replaced with LEDs.
The Chevrolet Express engine and chassis has been built since 2003, and is still being made. The exterior has not changed significantly. I have been told that the engines and transmissions from this timeframe are more desirable, as they were simpler, more reliable and much easier to repair.
I always used Lucas Oil cylinder lubricant and fuel treatment. It made the engine run smoother, and gave me a little better gas mileage.
