2021 Leisure Travel Vans Wonder 24RTB Ford Transit with Gasoline EcoBoost V6 Solar & Lithium

Instead of describing the many outstanding features and build quality that come with a Leisure Travel Van, we're going to highlight the areas in which this RV is different to help you decide whether this is the RV for you.

Model: We choose the Wonder because we wanted the Ford Transit T-350 chassis with the EcoBoost V6 gasoline engine. It produces excellent torque (great hill-climbing) and with its 10 speed transmission gets about 14.5 miles per gallon on regular gasoline. The large rear pass-through garage with bike/cargo slide will fit two bikes. Total 67 sq. ft. of exterior storage.

Model Configuration: We chose the Wonder R24RTB (rear twin bed) model because of its simple and convenient bedroom configuration. The twin beds can be converted into a king, and you can set up the bedroom and dry bathroom/shower as a private en- suite, separate from the front living/kitchen area. For example, this configuration allows one to sleep-in while the other one reads or makes breakfast. The under beds closet and storage add to the experience. We added a Winegard WiFi booster; macerator pump; and the exterior table.

Off-grid: When we purchased this RV, we included the features and options that we felt would make it convenient for off-the-grid trips: 400W solar panels; 4.0 kW Onan generator (with auto-start); and later added two 100Ah lithium house batteries with a Vectron battery monitor

Maintenance: We continually worked to keep our RV in great condition: Regular oil-changes, and regular repairs as needed; Windshield replaced in 9/2025; Awning motor replaced in 2025; Transmission flush completed in 3/2025; Generator oil and filters changed; Timbren rear suspension enhancement in 12/2025; New chassis batteries in 3/2025; Lithium house batteries installed in 9/2021; All six tires replaced in 7/2024.
