Wife and I have decided to sell our 2600RB. We haven't been using it enough to justify keeping it. I originally bought and outfitd it thinking we would do boon docking on long trips out West that never happened. We have had it out on the road about 10 times.

I am a retired engineer and I designed and installed a solar system with six 100W panels on the roof, 300AH of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, a Victron pure sine wave inverter and battery charger, two 60A solar charge controllers (one for the roof, one for panels sitting on the back of the truck, etc.), and all the associated safety stuff so it would meet code.

The short story is that my careful panel installation still eventually leaked and I recently ended up replacing the entire roof for $14,000 (Beckley's in MD did the work). I was in a state of shock so I have not replaced the solar panels, there are larger ones available now anyway. The panels are not included.

So this trailer is ideal for anyone that wants to go solar since thousands of dollars of batteries and electronics are already installed.

We also have replaced the tires and done many other upgrades such as a new better mattress, good fan in the bedroom vent, vent weather covers, and Blu-ray player.

Like most used trailers, there are some issues. We are buying slip covers for the recliners. The pictures show how the fake leather has degraded, which is a common problem with Grand Design. The Grand Design decal on the back of the trailer has weathered and is coming off. They want $800 for a replacement decal, which I thought was ridiculous, so I plan to remove the rest of it.
