2001 Pleasure-Way Excel-RD on the Dodge 3500 chassis. Rebuilt engine was installed by Peterson Automotive in Vancouver, Washington in August of 2025. The new motor has a transferrable 3 year or 30,000 miles warranty. Odometer reads 112,000 miles with 3,000 miles on the new engine.
We purchased this Class B Pleasure-Way in 2024 at 107,000 miles. We have found that we need a slightly larger RV. We are looking to replace this with a 24 to 26 foot Class C and would be open to a trade of equal value.
Pleasure-Way is a popular and reputable build on the Class B format and this one has been very well kept and maintained. Had I been watching the oil level better on a trip to San Fransico the old motor would be servicing well today.
All systems are working well. The in-house water pump was replaced in 2025. This vehicle also has rear air shocks which improves performance and handling.
