This 2017 Hymer Activ was built on a late 2016 model Dodge RAM ProMaster 3500 chassis. Babied by my next-door neighbors from whom we bought it, my wife and I have used our Hymer for just a few local camping trips and two extended trips in the two years we've had it: one to the American Southwest and the other to New England and the Canadian Maritimes. (They put 18, 000 miles on it and we only 12, 000, so this Dodge RAM ProMaster engine is barely broken in.) We love our Hymer--it has many features the two Roadtreks we had before it didn't have--but it's time to let it go. We've seen a lot of North America in the 12 years we've been retired, and now we want to do some traveling abroad. Our hope is that it'll bring as much pleasure to someone else as it has to us.
