Description
Two-bedroom 40 ft 5th wheel camper for sale. One master Bedroom, one bathroom with a standing shower, the toilet is less than a year old. One bunk room with a loft on top of the bunkroom. Motion activated lights throughout. With four slide outs. Propane stove with three burners on top, and an oven. Microwave, and a fridge that will run on both propane and electric. The hot water heater also runs on both electric and propane, and gets pretty hot. Living room TV included with an adjustable antenna on the roof. This was perfect for us to live in while we built, this will be perfect for you to live in while you build. Or travel. Whatever the heck you want to do. We don't care. We are willing to negotiate.
We bought this from Camping World for $32k September of 2024. We refuse to do to others what they did to us. We are listing it at this price because of its faults. The heater, when it worked, was poor. Tech support at Good Sam said the furnaces of 5th wheels this size never function properly. We went from spending $50 a week in propane to just using electric heaters. Much more efficient and cheaper. The grey tank in the kitchen is always open. I replaced the seal on that tank, and I believe the pull wire is pinched. We are homesteading so having a constant drain was actually handy for us. The fireplace blew a fuse. When I replaced the fuse, it blew it again. It will cost $300 to replace if you choose to.
I have installed a heat tape on the PEX lines that service the kitchen to keep them from freezing. This worked well until it got to -12. With no skirt there was nothing we could do. I've replaced the umbilical cord receptacle because it was only running on 1 conductor coming in the camper and melted it and the end of the umbilical cord. (Thanks for inspecting that Camping World!) I purchased a spare for the umbilical cord in the event the issue was not corrected. Since the issue is corrected I never needed it. This will go with the camper with the umbilical cord. You will also receive the heated water hose we have been using, and the king pin tripod.
The leveling system needs to be reset. As per the Good Sam tech support that needs to be done while connected to a tow vehicle. We do not have a tow vehicle. It still raises and auto levels, but it's stuck on the previous owner's terrain. When you press the auto level button it attempts to go to that setting. We don't move it at all so it being level where it's at is good enough for us. We were taken advantage of by Camping World pretty hard and don't want to do that to the next person.
This camper has served as a pretty good home while we built. We were able to comfortably gather as a family, eat meals as a family, and it provided enough private space for each member of the family. Since we lived in it for a little over a year I was able to identify issues with it and correct most. With this Reflection, you know what you're getting.
