Description
Located less than 5 miles from I-75 near Dade City, Florida, this one-owner, non-smoking, 43-foot Heartland Cyclone 4007 toy hauler boasts several added amenities that not all 4007s come with including three rooftop air conditioners, a tailgate patio deck with a railing and overhead awning, a three-season removable wall to the deck with glass windows, screens, and a door, the Yeti arctic package, dual pane windows, a stacked and vented washer and dryer, a full size 17.4 cu.ft. residential fridge, spice racks, a tankless on-demand hot water heater for long hot showers, a convection microwave oven that you can bake a casserole in, slide toppers, vent covers, roll-up towel holders, a railing on the upper Happijac bunk, and the opposite upper bunk railing has been modified so that you can open it for easy access in case you want to use it for storage.
She's the perfect rig for cross-country trips and for full-timers with a 13-foot garage with its own half-bath accessible even when the slides are in, a wrap-around kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, Happijac bunks that lift up to the ceiling and out of the way, a huge master bedroom with a king bed, a tub/shower, and auto-leveling. The Onan gas generator keeps you powered when you don't have access to electricity. Sleeps 7 people comfortably, or 11 people if you count the reclining couch. She's got the hookups for a satellite dish.
Garage:
The versatile 13-foot garage with its half-bath and ramp door carries your motorcycles, ATV, golf cart, kayaks, bicycles, Big Green Egg, and more. Heavy duty D-ring tie-downs keep your toys in place while traveling. Or use it for a kids' room, office, or hobby room. Two queen-size electric Happijac bunks raise up to the ceiling and out of the way, while a third upper bunk can be used for sleeping or storage. The railing on the third upper bunk has been modified so that you can open it for easy access to store things. The top queen bunk has an added railing so it can also be used for storage. The garage has its own air conditioner and sound system where you can play music from your mp3 player. An upper corner cabinet adds to the storage of this rig.
Tailgate patio deck:
The garage ramp easily converts to a patio deck with a railing, an electric awning, and you're up off the ground away from the ants. A removable three-season wall/door gives you a window to the world when the deck is down, complete with up-and-down glass windows and screens. Mountains, lakes, oceans, pine trees, palm trees -- it's all right there for a spectacular view. Sit on the deck and watch the sunrise, sunset, meteor showers, herds of deer, elks, and even a random buffalo in the right location. The three-season wall/door swings wide open and out of the way if you're bringing toys up the ramp into the garage. The deck and 3-season wall are added options that not all 4007s offer.
HVAC:
Three rooftop air conditioners keep you cool, while the furnace and fireplace keep you toasty when the temperature drops. The Yeti-Canadian Arctic option package heats your tanks so that they don't freeze, and the enclosed underbelly storage area is heated as well. Dual pane windows offer an added layer of protection from the weather and from outside noise. The third air conditioner, the Yeti package, and the dual pane windows are NOT standard on the 4007s, these are added options. The Onan gas generator keeps the power going when you're off grid or the campground power goes out, and it runs off of a built-in gas tank.
Big rig travel:
And if you're concerned that the rig is too big for the national parks, Yellowstone has a big-rig section that this unit fits into, and there are plenty of campgrounds just outside the national and state parks to accommodate you. We traveled to the Badlands, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome, the Grand Canyon, White Sands, and Mesa Verde, often staying a month at a time in external campgrounds, and two weeks inside Yellowstone in this rig.
Master bedroom:
Has a king-size bed with walk-around room on each side, his-and-hers closets 2.5 ft wide each with hanging clothes bars and an upper shelf, his-and-hers drawers (5 each), a fireplace, and a stacked washer/dryer. The fireplace can be used for ambiance without heat, or turn the heat on for those chilly nights. We added 6 towel holders for rolled up towels.
Culinary kitchen:
The wrap-around kitchen provides plenty of counter space, cabinets, 5 drawers, a regular oven, a convection microwave that can also be used for baking, a 3-burner stovetop, and a 17.4 cu.ft. electric residential fridge. Several spice racks have been added to the outside of the cabinets so that you can see all of your spices at a glance. The countertops offer space for your crockpot or Instant-Pot, a toaster and blender, with plenty of room left for meal prep. You can add a countertop dishwasher next to the sink. This is truly a full-time unit if you wish it to be. A separate closet serves as either a pantry or linen closet, and the kitchen booth offers more storage under the seat. The kitchen ceiling fan/vent has an added vent cover so that you can open it even in the rain.
Outside amenities:
The outdoor kitchen boasts a stovetop, sink, TV, and space for a minifridge. An outdoor water hose lets you wash your feet before going inside. Two exterior fuel tanks hold gasoline -- a 20 gallon tank for the Onan generator, and a 30 gallon tank for your motor toys complete with a gas pump handle. The slides have slide toppers to keep them free of debris. The steps to the main door are sturdy and solid to the ground. A spare tire is tucked up underneath. And she boasts a hydraulic auto-leveling system with the push of a button.
Four-seat couch and TV:
The 55-inch big screen TV is directly across from the couch so no straining to watch TV off to the side. Each seat in the 4-seat couch individually reclines, and the 2 middle seats drop down to create a table with drink holders and USB charging stations. Each end of the couch also has drink holders and USB charging stations. There are removable covers on each segment of the couch.
Master bathroom:
The master bath boasts a full bathtub/shower unit, 2 drawers, and 2 medicine cabinets. The tub rim is wide enough to sit on to give a child a bath, and the showerhead drops down for hand-held use. The on-demand tankless hot water heater provides endless hot water for long showers. The bathroom ceiling fan/vent has an added vent cover so you can open it even in the rain.
Sleeping areas:
Sleeps 7-11 people. The king bed sleeps 2, two queen bunks sleep 2 each, an additional upper bunk sleeps 1, and the four reclining sofa seats sleep 4.
Special note:
We have not moved everything out so the photos show things that will be removed, such as the printer, printer stand, wall vacuum, computer monitor in the garage, master bed mattress, kitchenware, Instant Pot, toaster, etc. No mattresses come with it, and there is no outdoor minifridge.
