Honestly, this has been a fun RV. We take the occasional local trip with it, and have towed our jeep with no issues. We have taken one long trip across the US, Florida to Wyoming and Idaho, and it worked like a champ. We need to sell it because we are going to be living in one place for six months and would like something bigger for the two of us for that length of time.
The RV was previously owned by a mechanic who took meticulous care of the engine side of things. We have fixed anything that we felt was sub-par. New cabin air conditioner last summer, overhauled generator, updated dinosaur control board and microswitches in the heater, new faucet in kitchen. All dinette cushions and associated vinyl upholstery professionally redone. New TV antenna, which works great. Replaced the back vent with a power in/out fan vent. Black and grey waste valves replaced. New batteries for both coach and engine.
Tires only have a couple thousand miles on them. The rear dualies have a crossfire pressure equalization system installed. Automatic powered coach leveling system. The roof was recovered just prior to our purchase. Ive checked and there are no soft spots. There are two slide-outs, one in the rear for the bed and one on the side for the closet space. Both are in the back so you can easily get to the dinette, kitchen, or bathroom (thank goodness!) even while on the road.
The chassis is the preferred Chevy 4500 (more room up in the cockpit). Mileage is about 38400. It is quite comfortable when driving, with plenty of power, even when towing our jeep, and short enough to easily maneuver and get into all the state and national parks.
