Of Note:

  • Sumo Springs Suspension Upgrades (front and rear) Added stability.

  • Auto Start/Stop Permanent disable chip, a known ecoboost engine killer is Auto Start/Stop, Ford took the software method of turning it off away, so I permanently removed with hardware option.

  • UV Tint front windows

  • Pedal Control (sends signals to the van's ECU system, smooths the power curve, and eliminates hesitation and abrupt power delivery. Companion app allows you to make adjustments. Fully customizable or option to use pre-programmed settings. In Theft Mode, Pedal Control 2.0 will send your van's ECU a 0% throttle signal.)

  • IRVWPC (Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller, smooths out water pump usage, and limits noise and increases consistency)

  • LevelMateMAX Wireless RV Leveling System (see your level on your phone and watch for ease at campsites)

  • Additional Hose Storage and Parts outside of van to make life easier at dump stations

  • Stubby Antenna

  • Added 3rd weatherstripping seal at doors to eliminate the Transit crosswind door rattle challenge. Quieted the cab as well in heavy winds.

  • Scopema Full Swivel Seats (because Ford didn't include them in the base chassis.)

  • Second installed Lagun Table in front area for two workstations/Additional Kitchen Area. (I also converted one of the bed boards to be a Lagun Table top for second desk)

Did you get this far? Great, let me tell you why we are selling our van, we want to move from the 22ft to the 20ft Ford Transit chassis, as it will fit our storage use case better. We love our van, it's taken us to 36 states thus far. Its amazing to travel in, beats our old bumper pull, and any Class C.

Here is why we love it. Its a cruiser, you need to do 80 on the I40, go for it, you want to fit in a tight parking lot, let the 360 cameras get you there. We've gone farther faster and seen more of America, that we ever would have without this Van. I love the dual rear wheels, they provide so much stability over the single wheel 3/4 ton or 1 ton options. I would never not have a 12V refridgerator in my RV again, the quicknest of being able to turn it on and use it on a day trip or just around town, not having to be level, is a game changers from the old 3-way fridge of the past. I love the black tank versus a cassette toilet, its a choice, but its better in my opinion, not lugging around a vat of waste. We love that this is State and National Park perfection on 4 wheels. Looking to see the sights of America across the states or just have your own place to hang for soccer practice. (this Van has 4 legal seatbelts)

Waivering on Ford chassis or Mercedes chassis for you B-Van? Here is why you choose Ford, there are about 3,000 dealerships in the US, but there are less than 400 Mercedes dealerships in US, and mostly centered around the coasts. So if you are travelling, access to parts or service might be a hassle. Quick story, last year at Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota we were camped next to a family in a new tent they had to buy to stay in for a week while they waited for the part they needed for their Sprinter Van to come from Denver. I looked up the nearest Ford Dealer was only 3o mins away at Rapid City, SD. So a good reason to choose Ford. Also the additional headroom and more powerful engine. I do like driving the chassis, its very easy to drive. Cross winds on the plains are no joke at times because you are 10ft tall, but Automatic Lane departure correction is a great help.

This van is loved, it is detailed and waxed professionally every 6 months, it sits in the north shade from our home, it has been serviced every 5,000 miles by a professional mechanic even though Ford says the engine can go up to 10,000 miles between. I am a firm believer that an ounce of prevention when it comes to vehicles is worth all the cure in the world. I care for my vehicles, and if you see this van, you will know that is true.
