Why This Allegro Is Different: The Liquid Spring Advantage

Most Class A motorhome owners share the same complaint after a long day on the road: white knuckles, an aching back, and exhaustion from fighting crosswinds, railroad crossings, and pothole shocks. We had the same problem until 2022.

In 2022, we drove this coach to Liquid Spring's headquarters in Indiana and invested $21,000 in a full Liquid Spring suspension replacement system. It has performed flawlessly for 18,500 miles since. The result? We now routinely drive six to eight hours and arrive relaxed.

What Liquid Spring Actually Does:

Evaluates speed, steering, braking, and ride height 1,000 times per second automatically optimizing ride quality in real time

Eliminates the sway and buffeting when large trucks pass you at highway speed

Neutralizes crosswinds that previously had us gripping the wheel for miles

Turns railroad crossings and pothole impacts into unhappy memories

Reduces coach squeaks and structural wear from road vibration

Three driver-selectable modes: Sport, Comfort, or Normal

Tiffin Motorhomes recognized this technology's value and now offers Liquid Spring as a factory option on new units priced at $9,500 installed at the Ford plant. The aftermarket cost today is $28,000. Ours was installed 18,500 miles ago and is fully operational.

See liquidspring.com for full technical details and owner testimonials.

Built on the Ford F53 The Proven Workhorse

This 30 ft. Allegro rides on the same Ford F53 chassis that UPS and FedEx ran for local deliveries expecting 200,000 miles and typically achieving 225,000+. Our coach has just under 70,000 miles on the Ford Triton V10 (10-cylinder, 362 HP) paired with an Allison transmission the same combination trusted by commercial fleets for decades.

Add the Liquid Spring suspension and 22.5-inch Toyo tires (installed 2024, only 8,000 miles on them), and you have a coach that drives with far more confidence and comfort than its year suggests.

A Note from the Owner

We purchased this coach planning to RV for another many more years which is exactly why we made the Liquid Spring investment in 2022. Both my wife and I are approaching 80, and our doctors have suggested it's time to retire from RVing. Illness forces the sale.

This is a genuinely well-maintained, well-loved coach that has benefited from real investment in its systems, not just cosmetics. We know what we have, and we've priced it fairly to reflect that.

The Adventures Waiting For You

How would you use it to celebrate America 250? This Allegro is ready to take you there.

Down the Interstate at 75 MPH, riding smoothly to your next stop

Time to finally tackle that "someday when we retire" list of sights to see

Sharing adventures with children or grandchildren she's ready to serve

Off to see family and friends several states away? Pack it up

Headed to ocean beaches or a lakeside state park this Allegro has been there and is ready to go back

Want a quick weekend escape? Just bring food bedding, dishes, and appliances are already aboard

Boondocking in the mountains under the stars 70 gallons of fresh water, an Onan 7000 generator, and 24 gallons of propane have you covered

A few months visiting states on your bucket list? How does "365 days on the road" sound?

We've towed Hondas with kayaks on the roof and bicycles inside on visits to the Adirondacks 1,800 miles from Boulder each way. The factory-installed trailer hitch (rated 5,000 lbs) and standard 7-pin wiring make it easy.
