Description

I'm the builder/owner. It cost me about $250k to make. I've seen the market for vans on here and this is a VERY competitive price. You can't get the tech and capabilities I have this cheap.

I'm currently in Sedona until December 25th. I can hand deliver anywhere in the western US. Just pay the gas. Gives me the opportunity to train you on the systems. Open to Eastern US delivery but it'll take more time and lots of gas lol.

This is a 2023 AWD Ford Transit 350 Extended Cab High Roof. It is absolutely decked out with technology and flourishes, but does have a few things that need work. I fixed several so this list is shorter now. Here's what needs fixing:

1. One solar panel is defective and isn't generating power. The other is still plenty and with the 250 amp/hour alternator and huge battery pool, I've never cared to replace it.

2. I haven't screwed in some hinges on the utility doors as I found it nicer to pull them out by the hinge than flipping them up. They are compressed in by the cushions so they're still secure anyway. Very minor thing.

3. I have a custom built Hand Pan instrument mount in prime shelf area that I will be removing, which will leave a couple screw holes and usable space for whatever shelves you might add. Holes can be reused as stud locations easy.

No other hardware is broken. All systems are fully functional, field tested, and there is barely any wear and tear. It's a beautiful rig and I'm very proud of the quality.

What you're getting here is an absolute beast of a boondocking vehicle. You will live in luxury while being able to travel anywhere, including cities. It's built for stealth by avoiding flashy exteriors and lots of windows while also being capable off-road with the AWD. I have taken this thing into very deep Backcountry area with no issues. I've also camped out in many cities and suburbs for a few days at a time and never had an issue. People think it's a work van.

Features:

1. 640W solar (320W working)

2. 12v top mounted air conditioner

3. Starlink rail slider built for a high performance dish

4. Starlink is 12v converted so I could permanently mount a low power 5ghz router. Protects alternator and saves on battery usage.

5. 1200 Amp Hours of Renogy Iron Phosphate Lithium Batteries

6. 3000W Inverter

7. 250 amp hour alternator. This thing is an absolute beast. You will never run out of power because of this.

8. Dishwasher! You heard that right. A functioning dishwasher. Great for cleaning pots and pans when you have heavy duty cleaning necessary and want to save water. I use it all the time.

9. Recirculating hidden shower! Large under floor shower with the option to recirculate the water, which is very useful when you're doing extended stays somewhere and want to save on water. There is a filtration and UV cleaning that will protect you for up to 7 showers. I usually only take like 4 max before swapping but that's just a personal preference. I got this blueprint from a van builder couple who got a professional water test done on the exact blueprint I'm using to prove the water is safe to shower in. I recommend only using it when necessary as it rips through your filters and requires regular cleaning. You can still take normal showers from the fresh water tank too though!

10. 12v fridge. I can't remember how big it is, but I have rarely ever run out of space and I cook a lot! It's very deep.

11. Webasto Gas Heater Airtop 40. This is the high altitude model that's more expensive. It works at about 1500 feet more elevation than the standard model, which is great for trips to Colorado and such. Works like a charm. Taps into the gas tank for fuel, so don't need to deal with that.

12. Cinderella Incinerating Toilet. This is my favorite feature of the van. It's a 12v + Propane powered toilet that burns all your waste away! All you have to do is empty a perfectly sterile ash container once a month or so. There's a pony keg of propane in the back that will last a week on average. Plenty enough to last up to 2 weeks if you're not wasting it by burning after every pee.

13. Happi-Jac bed lift. There is a full size Purple Mattress in the van. I absolutely love this mattress and think when you try it you will never go back to another brand (I won't be). I have fit two people in the bed comfortably (friends only, I promise!), so there is plenty of room. The bed lift will take the bed out of the way so you have access to the lounge below.

14. Entertainment lounge. Thick foam cushions and reclining pillows allow you to get really cozy in this cave lounge. The TV being very close to you means it gives a much bigger viewing experience than most RVs with small TVs offer. I usually have a PS5 plugged in for Netflix and games and stuff. You can use whatever you want to plug into it. TV and speakers are 12v.

15. Ample storage. 3 large over sink cabinets and a huge over cab cabinet. Lots of little drawers and shelves everywhere. Rear door storage as well as a huge deep drawer for propane and other stuff. I put my One Wheel in the same drawer as the propane canister, to put that in perspective.

16. 35 gallons of fresh water. 5 gallons of grey water. 7 gallons for shower water. Automatic dumping switches for the grey and shower water tanks.

17. Hot water 3 gallon tank heater for shower and sink. Dish washer has its own heating element.

18. Bug nets on both the main and rear doors.

19. Blackout divider between cab and rear for maximum cave sleeping energy. I sleep like a baby in this thing. Also keeps the heat from the front windows out of the back. I do have window covers too just in case.

20. Swivel seats on both the captain and passenger chairs. Leather seats for both.

I should note there is no shore power or shore water hookups. There is reasonable access to the electrical if you want to install your own shore power though. This rig was built to encourage mobility. If you're buying an RV to live in a campground, this is not the right rig for you. This was built for boondocking in mind as a philosophical and intentional choice. It also has no windows so it can remain as stealthy as possible for city camping, which can be its own boondocking adventure. The more "RV looking" you are, the more attention you draw. I've never had a knock with this van. Windows also vent a ton of heat/cold and if you really want a view, the rear doors open all the way out. There are very few holes cut in the van, so you can rest soundly knowing leaks will rarely, if ever, be a concern for you, unlike traditional RVs with dozens of leak site opportunities.

This is a pretty specialized rig that's beautiful, hand crafted, and ready to live in. It has, quite literally, every luxury you can imagine outside of a washer/dryer. I built this to keep forever for myself, but life finds a way to disappoint us all. I am not happy to be selling my van but I have to.
