THIS COACH HAS BEEN FIXED AND HAS A WARRANTY ON THE FIX FOR 3YRS OR 36000 MILES. CHECK THE NHTSA SITE AND RUN THE VIN OF ANY OTHER YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY. THIS IS THE NICEST OMNI IN THE COUNTRY FOR THE MONEY.
Here is your chance to own a very nice HIGHLY upgraded Thor Omni 4x4 SV34. We purchased the coach in 2022 brand new. We used this coach to travel from California to South Dakota several times a yr. Currently it has 38k miles on it. If you have never owned a new RV before then you must know there has to be shake out miles on any RV you buy. Your traveling down the road in a house basically. Like taking your home through constant earth quakes, so ALL RVs in the first few trips take a beating and need to be repaired or up graded. Lucky for us there were no major repairs nor have there been, just creature comfort upgrades to make it better than stock. There is no such thing as a perfect RV. However this one is as close as it gets for a 4x4 Super C Class. Its built on the Ford F550 platform that is simply a perfect pick. It will cruise at 80 all day and pull any grade with ease, stop on a dime and turn on a nickel.
We have never been off road with it and only used the 4x4 in snow a few times while driving through Wyoming. We have gone through the entire coach and have up graded all the Thor weak spots. Those I will explain next. We are fanatics on how we keep our coach so every 3500 miles there was an oil change. Every 6 months a full detail. Once a year a full ceramic coat. You can see the mirror finish in the video on you tube. The interior was completely cleaned every trip. Stored inside when home and covered when not. No expense spared on this coach. We replaced the following and the reasons why:
NOTE: JUST ADDED 19K IN PAINT CORRECTION OF ANY SMALL ROAD NICKS TO BE PERFECT, ROOF RESEAL, DEF FILL LINE FIX AND THE BIG FORD RECALL FIX.
Front Bumper and lights. We travel where there are deer and many other animals so we want to be sure the coach was protected. The factory cheap plastic bumper with no tow hooks was not good for a 4x4 RV. So we installed a full cattle bumper with tow hooks. We then upgraded the headlights from dull halogens to bright LEDs. Added Ridgid driving cubes and an LED light bar. This will light up any situation you need to see in. We added the snap pads to all the levelers so that the coach is more stable when in the camping position. The pads allow for any ground surface leveling and reduce temperature transfer as well as keeps the coach more stable. Next, we enclosed all the open cabinets that the factory left open trying to cut costs on the build. The generator, battery and propane cabinets were enclosed with aluminum and the proper venting for all was encompassed per the manufactures of each area. This keeps the road grime off and out of these areas. This keeps the generator, batteries and propane cabinets much cleaner. We upgraded the stock suspension to the adjustable fox shocks and sumosprings. This greatly improved the ride quality and removed a ton of road noise and vibrations that the stock suspension allowed. The sumosprings are a suspension enhancement built to create a better journey. Manufactured from micro-cellular polyurethane, they are designed to reduce sag, decrease vibration, stabilize sway, and soften harsh rebounds. Far superior to the stock equipment. We added an Aqua Hot 400D a Class A bus heater. We did this because Thor claims this is an all-weather coach. Well at 30F for 16 hours we froze the water compartment and kitchen sink. So, we added under cabinet heating as well as 6 more vents inside the coach. We placed this unit in the useless outdoor kitchen. Prior there was a tiny sink and very small refrigerator that barley held a 6 pack of bottles. A cooler was a better way to go here. The Aqua Hot system runs on both diesel and or electric. So while driving or dry camping you have heat and hot water. Was better than the stock on demand water heater. We spent 2 days in the coach in negative temps and were cozy as can be. Perhaps one of the best upgrades was to the slide out system. The Thor SV34 has a full wall slide that is massive and very heavy. The factory Schwintek system is absolutely too weak for this slide. One of Thors major issues. Well, we didnt want to be an issue for us, so we installed the Varoom slide system. On the interior we replaced the 2 DUMB TVs the factory installed to Samsung smart TVs and added a Bose sound bar to the main TV. An in-motion satellite dish as well as a Wingard WIFI dish all roof mounted. We added an extra solar panel to provide 200 watts of charging, 4 brand new 6v chassis batteries and a larger solar controller. This all can keep you off grid for as long as there is day light. That combined with the diesel generator that sips fuel you can stay off grid for as long as you want. Finally, we upgraded all the exhaust fans in the coach to Max-Fans. All but 1. The front cab fan could not be done due to running the electrical there cleanly. It can be done we just didnt like the how it was going to be done is all. We added all the vent fan covers so you can have them open even in the rain and not get water in the coach. Well, thats it as of today. Thank you for reading this and if your still here you must be interested. Like I said you will not find a better Super C 4X4 than this. All the bugs worked out and all the upgrades to make it as nice as we could. Extremely well taken care of. Stored inside when we are home and covered when we were not. NO BROKERS OR DEALERS. We dont need help selling it nor do we need to. We are not in a rush and not desperate.
