While the retro 2015 Winnebago Brave 26A was a fun design, there were so many things in the interior that frankly just didn't work so we upgraded and updated it to make it a beautiful, bright, and highly functional rv. Our family of 4 including 2 teens traveled all over the western USA for 8 months flat towing a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited (also available for sale) and it was absolutely perfect. We are reluctant to part with this duo, but our kids have flown the nest and it's time for us to downsize.

This 27'8" rv is large enough to sleep 4 adults comfortably in 4 single beds or in 2 singles and a queen but yet is small enough to fit into about 90% of national park campgrounds. The 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited is one of the few vehicles that can be flat towed behind a motorhome. It has just over 66,000 miles on the odometer, and its beautiful copper color makes it a stunning partner to the Brave. It is for sale for $23,000.

Following is a list of most of the Brave's upgrades:

Kitchen: Replaced the stove/oven, double-bowl sink, and brown countertop with a 2-burner stove and deep drawer, a single-bowl deep sink, and white countertops to double the amount of counter space, increase storage, and brighten it up. Replaced the backsplash with a glass dry erase board and magnetic knife rack. Added a door to access the trash/recycling bins underneath the sink from the aisle. The previous owner added roll-out shelves to the pantry.

Wardrobe: Added 2 deep drawers and 4 shelves to make it more space efficient.

Entryway: Removed the very shallow cabinet and installed a wall of pegboard for hanging bags, coats, headlamps, umbrellas, dustpan/broom, etc. Also added pegboard above the door for shorter items like hats and hooks beside the door for leashes.

Back bedroom: Added 3 Ikea Trones storage cabinets and built a door to access the external storage compartment. Replaced all of the mattresses with twin Ikea foam mattresses covered with Hospitology mattress encasements. Added a 110v outlet with USB ports and a Ryobi hand vacuum.

Bathroom: Replaced the brown countertop with a larger white one. Added pegboard and hooks to dramatically increase storage space. Replaced the plastic toilet with a porcelain toilet and added a shutoff valve. Replaced the original exhaust fan with a Maxxfan and added a Maxxair cover.

Front Living Space: Modified the dinette table so that it now folds down against the wall to increase floor space. Replaced the sofa/bed/table with an adjustable sofa that pulls out to a twin or queen bed (using the over-cab bunk mattress). Added storage baskets and cup holders along the driver side wall. Replaced the carpet covered doghouse with a custom doghouse that is functional and easily removable. Added blackout roller shades to the cab side windows and a blackout curtain to the front window. Covered the captain's chairs with matching heavy duty covers and recovered the dinette seat to match the sofa. Added a Maxxair cover to the exhaust fan.

Other Interior Upgrades: Removed all the carpet and added luxury vinyl plank flooring, painted the entire interior to brighten it up, and added ceiling hooks for custom curtains that divide sleeping and dressing spaces and provide privacy.

Exterior: Added a slide-out kitchen. Removed carpet from compartments and painted the interiors. Replaced the original awning and water pump. Added a 40 watt inverter and the Tire Minder tire pressure monitoring system (will be included only if buying the Jeep). Previous owners added the InvisiBrake supplemental braking system, Safe T Plus steering control, Blue Ox Alpha tow bar, and the custom paint job and decals.
