The 2003 COACH HOUSE PLATINUM 270 XL is a Class C motorhome that offers a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience for its passengers. With only 20,777 miles on the odometer, this vehicle has plenty of road ahead of it. The PLATINUM 270 XL model is known for its durability and reliability, making it a popular choice among avid travelers.

The coach has been meticulously maintained. I setup a log book documenting all maintenance, upgrades & repairs including all associated receipts. The coach still has the original 2003 Coach House 3 ring binder detailing all the aspects of the coach including the Ford chasis manual.

We recently (10/5/25) upgraded our tires to 6 brand new OEM Hankook Dynpapro tires. This along with suspension upgrades from a few years ago such as 2 new Roadmaster sway bars, shocks and a Safety Plus (handling stabilizer) have created a very steady & stable driving experience. Also included is a TPMS tire management system. 

Inside, the cabin is designed to provide ultimate comfort and convenience. The layout is spacious and well-appointed, with plenty of storage space for all your belongings. The kitchen area is equipped with a 3 burner gas stove, microwave, coffee maker and double sink allowing you to prepare delicious meals on the go. The living area is perfect for relaxing or entertaining guests, with plush seating and a flat-screen TV.

Our vision was to make the coach as self sustainable as possible. We have installed 300ah of Lithium Batteries, 400 Watts of Solar Power, All managed by a Solar Charge Controller & 3,000 Watt Victron Multiplus Inverter. All power needs can run off the lithium batter bank, even the AC, albeit for a short period of time. To supplement battery power is a 4,000 watt onboard Onan Generator (just serviced).

The sleeping quarters are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's rest after a long day of travel. The setup includes twin beds with main lighting over each and also reading lights at the head of each bed, also available are electrical outlets on the ceiling over each bed. Cross ventilation is provided by slide up windows next to each bed. Ample storage is also close by, above and below each bed.

The coach is equipped with a less than 2 year old Dometic air conditioner with softstart and a heat pump. The AC thermostat is also a current model. Inside the coach are two fantastic fans with electric temperature control to keep the air circulating. 

The bathroom is clean and functional, providing all the necessary amenities for your convenience. Included is a brand new Thetford toilet, a bowl sink, ample counter space and storage above. Full spacious shower with Oxygenics shower head. In the bathroom you will also find a large closet with light and hanging bar for lots of clothes, as well as a locking safe to hold your valuables. Overall, the interior of the PLATINUM 270 XL is designed for comfort & convenience.
