After many years in travel trailers, we searched extensively for a Class A motorhome to be our last RV. This Holiday Rambler Admiral 32S checked all our boxes and then some. We dont overland or boondock, but we do dry camp a lot in state and national parks without hookups, so tank capacities, a 10-gal water heater and 12 cubic foot refrigerator were important to us. There are just two of us, so a second full bathroom wasnt on our list, but it has proven to be a wonderful feature.

The king bed is great. With the dinette and loft queen bed, it would comfortably sleep 6 (we use the loft for storage to keep stuff like camera gear and guitars out of the way while camped). Theres a good-size wardrobe/closet and plenty of storage inside and underneath. This RV would be a compact yet comfortable platform for full-timing, and its great on one-to-two week camping trips. The 32 length is short enough to get into most state and national park campgrounds.

Built on the 22,000-pound Ford F53 chassis, the 7.3L V8 has more than enough power and excess towing capacity to tow our 2016 4Runner (also for sale contact me for details). We added the factory steering dampener and an after-market rear trac bar which makes for smooth driving, even when getting passed by a semi-truck that is going 80 mph.

We also added as factory options the power driver seat, partial paint, dual 13,500 ACs and theater seating sofa/recliners. After-market adds include Dish TV and SiriusXM radio, two additional 6V house batteries (4 total), 400W of solar, ceramic coating to protect the paint, and Dynamat insulation to quiet the ride. We also have a full set of factory schematics and documents, and two keys.

After enjoying Moondance for four years and just over 20,000 miles, we decided to go back to a bumper-pull trailer and pickup, so this great motorhome is now for sale.
