Description

We are selling our 2020 Jayco Jayflight SLX 224BH. We purchased it as the 2nd owners. Overall length is 26'-5". Front bed is a queen size with flip up storage. Also a curtain for privacy. Moving through the camper, we have a standard kitchen with black appliances. Storage cabinets above sink and some storage under the sink. The gas stove is a 3 burner/oven combo unit. Microwave/vent located above the stove. Faucet and sink both working great with no leaks. Standard camper refrigerator/freezer combo. Freezer freezes good and refrigerator stays cold. Opposite of that is where a standard dinette would normally be found. When we purchased the camper, the table was wobbly and the booths were cramped and not very pleasant. So we gave it some thought and decided to remove the dinette and add storage back with 2 accent cabinets with a very similar counter top. With kids, this suited our needs better from a functional standpoint. I mean, we are camping right!?! Who wants to sit in a cramped booth inside a camper. The cabinets are the right height so you can still sit on the counter like you would a bench. This also allowed more room for coffee pots, toasters, crock pots, ect while camping. Next to that is a standard pantry but I added some additional shelving to make it more functional. Beyond that is the bunk bed setup. The top bunk has an a/c vent in the ceiling, however the bottom bunk does not. The top bunk area did not have an outlet so I ran a power strip up from the bottom bunk area then added a keyed lock box to prevent little hands from messing with the cord/outlet. Both bunks have a light and a window. Both bunks have a curtain for privacy and the bottom bunk as some storage space under the mattress. Finishing up the inside, we have a standard camper bathroom with shower, vent and skylight and corner vanity. Shower fixtures all work great and drains as it should. Standard plastic foot flush toilet.

On the outside there is a full storage pass through at the front. This unit originally came with and outdoor kitchen in the back however the slide system was made of press wood and was coming apart. So I built a storage rack system out of cedar to hold the black storage totes. While the kitchen was a good idea, the sink was tiny and the 2 burner grill would work when it wanted to. So we get more use out of the storage area and just carry our small blackstone for cooking. The awning is a power awning and works great. No leaks in the canvas and the lights do work and you can change the color with a remote. There are speakers built into it for the stero located in the camper. Speakers dont sound great. They may be blown out. Also on the outside is a TV mount and receptacle. The back has a spare tire mounted on the bumper. The water heater is gas or electric operated and gets plenty hot. The annode rod was replaced when we purchased the camper. On the other side of the camper is the outdoor shower. The hose and sprayer were replaced this year. The manual stabilizer jacks all work smoothly and are secure. The tires are in great shape, still have plenty of tread and hold air. The AC unit is roof mounted and blows greatand this summer was a good test for it. It cools the camper down in just a few minutes. The heat is gas and it works great as well. Heats the camper up quickly. The underside of the camper is fully enclosed and all intact. This is a 30 amp camper system. Overall exterior is in what i would call great shape. No dents or bowing or scratches. The roof is solid and all intact. I did the usual touch up caulking around the gutters and storage hatches. This camper is water tight. I tow it with a 1500 V8 truck with no problems. We have taken it to the Smoky Mountains several times and its an easy camper to pull and back up. Camper also comes with a back up camera that can be worth its weight in gold in some campgrounds.

This was our first camper and it has been amazing. No horror stories of massive failures or anything like that. We are looking to sell only to get a bigger camper for our kids. We took our little hypoallergenic dog 1 time and the camper has not been smoked in.

This will make anybody a great camper whether you are just wanting to dip your toes into the camper lifestyle and dont want to spend a ton of money to try it out or if you are looking to downsize from what you currently have.
