2008 Damon Astoria Motor coach 39 Diesel Pusher Bunk model

This Coach has been on our family for over 12 years now and we have enjoyed it on average 3-4 times a year. Over the years we have used it, this is not a new coach but in great condition for a family looking to get into a diesel pusher for 1/3 the price of a new gas motor home.

Over the year the following is a list of major items we have upgraded and replaced.

Mechanically we had a bolt break on the fan clutch no damage but we did replace the fan clutch while the back of the coach was open. No other engine or transmission issues the entire time we have owned it. The service life on the freightliner chassis is 400k miles I am told.

This model has had issues with the clear coat on the front cap and sides at the top deteriorating and cracking. We had the entire top painted sides and front cap sanded and clear coated about 5 years ago to stop that cancer from spreading and also replaced the air horns at the same time.

We replaced the Carrier air conditioners and upgraded to Coleman with professional install

We upgraded the fan in the bathroom to a large variable speed fan with auto open and close remote and rain sensor.

We added 200W Renogy solar panel system for charging batteries when dry camping

We replaced the inverter about 5 years ago

We upgraded the back up camera to a full system including top rear view, hitch rear view and side view cameras the turn on manually and when you turn on the turn signals.

Upgraded shower valve to Moen shower valve pressure balanced with hand held and slide bar in the shower.

All coach and house batteries were new about 2 years ago.

The interior with this specific model has had issues with the vinyl they used on the seat so we replaced the flex steel captains chairs with custom ultra-Leather hand sewn covers and refreshed padding and foam. The large couch still has the peeling vinyl but we have put a slip cover on it.

There is a large TV in the living room with Direct TV and an auto tracking satellite dish that works with both direct TV and Dish network, Additionality there are TVs at the bunk bed area and in the master in the back. The master TV was upgraded to a flat screen with swivel mount.

This coach has triple slide outs, 50amp shore power, large LP tank we only typically fill once a year. 3 burner gas stove with convection microwave.

Sleeps 2 in the master with upgraded residential pillow top matters, Two in the bunk beds, has a fold out couch. A small fold down love seat and the dinette folds down to a bed as well.

We loved this coach throughout our kids childhood for a 2008 in great condition. Our kids our grown now and we have upgraded to another coach so this one must go.
