The only reason this thing is on the market is because my family got some unfortunate medical news, and we're not going to be camping for at least a year or two. There's no way I'd give anyone else a shot at owning this camper if we were going to be using it, even if it was only a few times a year. I seriously love this thing, and you're going to love it too.

Summary:
The 2024 Scamp 16' is the perfect light-weight camper for singles, couples, and families. Our family of four fit perfectly in this space, and there's room enough for larger families as well. It's a flexible and adaptable camper with minimal maintenance and vehicle requirements. We tow it with a Toyota Highlander (max capacity 5,000lbs) and it handles the Scamp like it isn't even there. You could manage with less power if you needed to.

What makes the 16' Scamp great is that it gives you all the comforts and luxuries you want in a modern camper, but it doesn't keep you or your kids glued to the couch or watching TV. It encourages you to get outdoors, while giving you a climate-controlled, quiet, and relaxing place to recover for your next adventure. The bathroom is extremely convenient and eliminates those late-night stumbles to the campground restrooms. The on-demand water heater gives you a warm shower indoor or out. The bunks are big enough to fit me, a 6'2" man (see pictures!). Obviously, I'm taking the queen bed because I drove this thing here, but if there was a mutiny I could stay in the bunks no problem.

My family went from a NuCamp teardrop (T@G) to the Scamp, and in terms of comfort it was a big step up. My worry was that it would be a big step-up in maintenance and effort as well, but I was wrong. The Scamp is about as hassle-free and easy to work with as the simplest campers out there.
