Description
It pains us greatly to list our 2022 Pleasure Way Tofino. This Class B Van is immaculate. No kids or animals allowed inside. Only used by my wife and I to scout potential retirement locations. Synthetic oil and filter changed every 5,000 miles. Zero mechanical issues. Cleaned and covered after every use. We are particular with our vehicles and it is in awesome condition. Not sure how this happened but, there is not a single mark or blemish on any of the cabinetry, not even in the cargo area. Fridge inside is like new, countertop is perfect. Headliner perfect. The vehicle was never used for casual urban driving or other. 95% highway destination miles.
The batteries are at 100% efficiency. I fully charged them and then turned off for 3-months. Turning them back on, they were still at 100%. Inverter is flawless.
We are going to include our high-tech air conditioning solution for free (last photo). We camped in the 115-degree Borrego Springs and almost froze to death LOL. Hot air vents out the driver's side window and no bugs or critters can get in. Cost me a few grand to figure it all out. Takes 10-minutes to set up, is out of the way and you can run it all night long and have plenty of battery charge in the morning. Stores away nicely in a tub, under the bed. Its awesome and a total sleep enhancer. Also have a few other trick items we purchase including a portable awning, induction cooking pans, bowls, plates and other that we'll include.
If you're planning on camping/driving on the dirt, via fire roads or similar, the stock Tofino must be modified, or you'll continually bottom out both the front and back end of the vehicle. Stock, it rides too low, and v-shaped driveways or parking lot entrances are brutal. We invested $20,000 to mitigate those situations with a 3-inch lift, sumo rear shock and urethane bump stop for better stability, Motive rims and beefy Toyo tires. These items neutralized the issues of off-road or uneven surfaces. All work done by authorized mechanics at Off Road Warehouse in San Diego. Also added heavy duty, steel grill guard and flood lights as the stock Tofino lights are weak. Promaster branded front cabin carpet pad is in excellent shape. It is owned outright. We paid $110,000 out the door.
We get all kinds of people taking photos of the van. Its a head turner for sure.
