Description

Up for sale is our Forest River Sabre 38DBQ fifth wheel bunkhouse. Our life situation has changed and are no longer RVing, so our favorite trailer needs to go. This trailer has an East-West king bed and a full bathroom up forward, a residential fridge with kitchen island and a table and chairs, plus a bunk room with two lofted beds, a couch and fold down bunk, and a full bathroom back aft. Theres also an outdoor kitchen! For full specifications on the 38DBQ, reference Forest Rivers site.

I have made quite a few upgrades and modifications and will attempt to list them all:
1. A/C return mod that isolates intake and return from each other allowing for significantly better airflow. This thing can go from 99 degrees to 72 in 10m with both running. Absolutely amazing!
2. 2X 96 sewage storage pipes installed under the frame next to forward connections.
3. JT Strong Arm jacks in the front
4. Lippert C type manual jacks rear to almost eliminate the trailer sway
5. Installed two 650CCA deep cycle batteries with a custom harness to eliminate sluggish slide out movement, both charged by either the solar panel or inverter.
6. Fresh rear tires and spare after some tire failures.
7. Added 2 receiver on the rear bumper for the flagpole holder.
8. All windows tinted to help with heat reduction.
9. Exterior treated with 303 Aerospace Graphene
10. Reversed the direction the forward bathroom opens so it opens aft and creates more privacy for the master bedroom.
11. Installed a towel holder, hand towel holder, toilet paper holder, and faucet - all Moen residential fixtures in the master bath.
12. 42 Vizio smart TV in the living room.
13. Installed coat hooks.
14. I built rigid, painted wood covers for both upper windows in the boys bunks so they would get up with the sun and the Roosters. . . And, installed a visual barrier on the aft bunk for privacy and honestly to keep these two from looking at each other and goofing off at bedtime!
15. Installed towel hooks, hand towel holder, toilet paper holder, and faucet - again, all Moen residential stuff in the boys bathroom.
16. Outdoor kitchen got a stainless paper towel holder, a 15 stainless wet bar sink with proper brushed nickel kitchen faucet.

The things about this trailer that turned us on are: private East-West king bedroom with full bath, kitchen with island, residential fridge and lots of cabinet space (too much), a table with chairs - not a booth, and a rear bunk with a door and even more cabinet space. I always need an outdoor kitchen to cook and entertain, plus the trailer has a 2020lb tongue load (empty) and is about 12,500lb empty - I wanted a big trailer that was relatively light weight.
