This is a lightly used 2020 Airstream Caravel 19CB with some upgrades. It has two reasons why it has a discounted price.

Why this is discounted:

* It has a marked title from before I purchased it. It was professionally repaired by a frequent Airstream lister on RVTrader (excellent work).

* It has cosmetic-only hail damage. The roof is very noticeable on the panels (all vent covers, AC cover, and fan covers were not damaged); some of the side panels have hail dents. There are not many per panel, and in my experience, non-Airstream owners don't even notice them. I've seen other Airstreams for sale with more hail damage that did not disclose the hail in the listing.

Upgrades:

* Battery: AGM -> LiFEPO4. I swapped the AGM batteries on the hitch frame box to a BattleBorn 100Ah LiFePO4 battery under the bed. Benefits: This single battery has as much usable runtime as the two original AGM batteries, reduces overall weight slightly (and reduces hitch weight more significantly), and this battery type lasts much longer. The battery mounting tray has a slot for a second battery. Another could be added easily and would only additionally require the wires. $750

* As part of the LiFePO4 upgrade, the AC-DC charger was updated to support the battery change, and a Victron BMV-712 battery monitor was installed, readable from the doorway (nice to check the charge from outside w/o going in). ~$200

* Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller. This is mounted on the trailer front frame and acts like an automatic brake controller (your vehicle does not require a separate brake controller). $400.

* Upgraded rear camera and monitor: Vision Works HD Wireless Rearview 7" Monitor and Camera Kit. I was experiencing video dropouts and lower-quality video from the OEM camera. ~$500.

* TorkLift TailoredHitch. This is a 2" rear receiver mounted on the trailer's bumper. I had intended to haul a bike carrier with it, but only used it for a hitch-mounted lock cable. ~$400.

* Micro-Air EasyStart. This eases the AC on (instead of the clunk on/off), increases AC lifetime, and reduces startup load requirements (you can run AC on a 20A 120V circuit without tripping the breaker). $300 part.

* Micro-Air EasyTouch RV thermostat. This is an upgraded thermostat with app access over WiFi & Bluetooth.

* Replaced the OEM cell modem / WiFi with a Pepwave Max Transit Duo Pro. I get a better signal with this (cell and WiFi), and it allows dual SIMs (you can add multiple carriers to cover carrier-specific dead zones). $1k part.

* Hardwired Hughes Power Watchdog (gen 1) under the bathroom sink. This guards against power quality issues (low voltage, miswired shore power, etc). ~$300

* LevelMate Pro+. Get camper leveling status on your phone or Apple Watch. ~$120

* Mopeka LP tank level wireless sensors and 5-level readout. Sensors on the tanks can be read from inside the camper by pushing a button. ~$100

* AppleTV. This is currently connected to the TV, not the Blu-ray player. This could be switched back to the Blu-ray player or replaced with a different streaming device. ~$100

* Snap Pads under the four stabilizing feet and the jack foot pad. You can skip bringing boards with these pads. ~$100

* The front curtains were replaced with two-panel curtains instead of the four-panel stock curtains. The originals were more annoying to use (velcro came undone). ~$300

Other notes from my ownership:

* Usage: One longer trip (3k miles) and ~3 shorter trips @ 200-300 miles each per year.

* Winters: Each winter, the camper was stored in covered storage, and the battery was always removed and stored @ 80% charge in a heated area.

* Solar. It does not have solar panels installed, but does have a Zamp external connector on the front and pre-wired solar ports on the roof wired through the walls to the electrical access area. Adding solar would require panels and a solar charge controller (no body work / wire pulling).
