2019 TAG XL - SOFITEL PACKAGE
This camper was ordered without the TV or a microwave option which gives you extra cabinet space in the galley.
Also ordered the additional light bar in the galley, aluminum rocker trailer tongue, and the roof rack that at the time was only offered with the Boondock Edition.The galley includes the Norcold refrigerator/ or freezer (not dual zone)which NuCamp has since replaced in the newer addition tags with a cooler.We have had zero issues with the appliance maintaining temperature when used as a refrigerator. It was never used as a freezer.The light bar is attached to the galley hatch door.The galley hatch door does have a small area damaged from a too tall item being placed in the storage shelf. It could be easily covered. We just never did so.When not in use, no matter the season, this camper has been stored in a garage.
During our ownership of the trailer, we added the following modifications:
2 inch Dexter lift (think Boondock edition)Oversized BF Goodrich all-terrain tiresLarger diamond plate toolbox to the front of the trailerReplaced original manual roof fan with an automatic MaxAirInstalled 65 pound struts under the bed for easier access to storageTwo 6V golf cart batteries to increase capacity (longer runtime)Under vehicle lights , set the color you want via app control and lights in the toolbox areaOrdered matching solid color wing walls made by Meme Eberspacher in 2021, but wound up not installing them due to removal of the sink/cooktop combination
Larger modifications:
Removed sink/stove combination, and replaced with a laminate countertop that includes an extension down the middle (see pictures for reference) to increase counter spaceInstalled a Camp Chef on demand water heater next to the toolbox for showers/dish, dishwashing needsA 23 Zero 180° awning is installed on the passenger sideAn ARB 2000 x 2000 awning has been installed on the drivers side.This awning includes a removable privacy screen room
