Description
2019 RAM Promaster Class B self contained camping vehicle feature 400 W of solar, 600 A/H of lithium batteries, 30 gal fresh water, 22 gal waste water, dual roof fans, AC/DC throughout, Twin bed, dinette with swivel table, induction cook plate and solid hardwood throughout. Can be easily converted to Queen bed should you need to. Dual rear and front cameras record to flash drive. Storage for clothes, jackets, food and accessories abounds. The van rides great and offers good gas mileage. The interior is custom throughout. Solid oak side panels with foam and fiberglass insulation on sidewalls with foam and wood on the ceiling and solid foam and 3/4 birch plywood floor offers maximum comfort. The dinette back wall uses three types of solid wood to create a feature wall. The butcher block kitchen counter is versatile and handsome with a full swivel faucet that allows you to have a spray hose outside the van. The closet is lined with cedar. An AC/DC cooler can be set as fridge or freezer and is prewired for a second cooler under the dining seat. An induction plate is tucked away in the under sink cupboard. The 30 gal water tank or city water options are installed with a UV and triple filter. The underslung 22 gal waste tank is tucked between the frame and invisible without searching. A composting toilet tucks under the bed when not in use along the a storage bin for hoses and accessories.
The dining area seats two comfortably with a swivel table that doubles as a laptop desk. The ceiling is white bead board wood with two ceiling fans which maintain a comfortable environment in most climates. The floors are finished birch plywood. I prefer them as they can be sanded and refinished easily. There is plenty of LED swivel lighting plus a reading light above the bed. For cold nights the electric heater easily takes the chill off. I took a two month trip through CA/OR/WA and across Canada to Banff and then back to LA and was comfortable camping in weather from 32 to 99 and the cab a/c took care of the 109 desert temps.
The electrical is accessible from the rear door with 600 AH of lithium batteries supplied by 400 W of solar on the roof. There are plenty of AC and DC outlets throughout the van.
There is very minor damage from an accident in the vans previous life as a delivery van. Most people don't notice it and it has never caused me any problems.
