Description

****Please note: this van needs a new transmission. I am putting it up here for 3 weeks max, if it doesnt sell, Im selling to a dealership or trading it in for a van shell and starting over.

My story:

Last year (5/24) I bought this from Facebook marketplace for $20,000. I had it checked out by a Goodyear employee who was related to the seller. We think that they erased the check engine light because it came on almost immediately and has been on for the past year. Since then we have put about $8,000 into her, including: 4 new tires, a new emergency brake mechanism, a windshield wiper pump, a new car battery, a whole lot of work from two dealerships, and one fantastic mobile diesel mechanic. I have most of the paperwork or I can get it. I can put you in touch with my diesel mechanic.) Theres a crack in the windshield that was fixed by an expert.

As far as the build, it was done by an amateur but its a good solid build that needs small repairs here and there.

WHY IM SELLING:

The van needs a new transmission. This will run about $5000 and we just could not justify putting more money into her. I need a very reliable van.

Im putting it on here with the hope that there is someone who can fix the engine and small interior issues, and use it or sell it for a lot more. These are priced between $25,000 and $35,000.

The good:

I LOVED this van. Despite her breaking down about 5 times, I put 10k miles on her. Slept in it countless nights and stealth camped my way to Louisiana and up through Maine. I almost never ran out of battery because it was connected to the alternator and I had 2 house batteries. Theres an out door shower and Fiamma awning that I have never used. The bug screen was wonderful and added additional security as it was bolted to furniture. Theres lots of room and ample room under the bed. Great for one person full time or 2 part time.

Im willing to include the following: two solar panels (not installed), the (1000?) inverter & 2 new house batteries, 2 refrigerators (I used one as a freezer and one as a fridge,) a small table I placed next to the swiveling passenger seat. Plus whatever kitchen stuff you want, 2 burner stove, the mattress (the bed turns into a table) and whatever else you'd like. May be open to a trade for something similar with a gas engine.
