Renovated / upgraded 75th Anniversary 2001 Airstream XC 360 Land Yacht motorhome. CAT 3126 diesel (no DEF!) with an Allison 3000 MH six-speed automatic transmission, cruise control. Onan 8500 generator. Renovated interior with new floor, kitchen / bathroom sinks / fixtures, countertops, gas cooktop, bathroom vanity, window valances / shades, light fixtures, wall paint, front windshield black out curtain, recovered sofa, beverage and residential refrigerator, entertainment cabinet with televator and electric fireplace, 2 smart TVs. Kept the original solid oak cabinets (hard to find quality cabinets like these in an RV these days!). 2 ACs work great! Mechanically gone through with a fine tooth comb with new shocks, brakes, steering dampener, radiator, belts, hoses, high pressure pump, (Im sure I missed some things that were addressed). Tires have less than 10,000 miles on them (new spare tire in the basement). New Xantrex 3000 watt inverter with auto generator start. Paint is in good shape and cleans up nicely. Roof completely resealed. Only about 3500 miles on oil change / lube and generator service. Recently returned from a CA, UT, CO trip and was getting 6.5 8+ MPG. Plenty of power for towing a vehicle.
This is a great Class A unit that definitely exhibits the Airstream quality. Weve really enjoyed this rig but have decided to move to a 5th wheel.
