1986-87 Vanagon full camper dove grey interior, EJ25 Subaru engine, rebuilt manual trans, NEW Air Conditioning!
1986 Vanagon full camper (86 chassis, 87 grey interior). The van has a Vanaru Subaru engine conversion done professionally in 2016. Tons of upgrades; this van is in good cosmetic condition and FANTASTIC mechanical condition and is ready to RELIABLY drive ANYWHERE. I have all the receipts from mechanics, including the engine conversion and photos/videos of the work from 2021+.
I have the clean/clear NY title to the van.
About the 2016 Subaru engine conversion ($12,000):
- Used 2011 Subaru Impreza engine (38,000 miles with power steering pump).
- Vanaru engine system with wiring, exhaust, brackets, shields, air filter, hoses, etc.
- Installation done by Complete Auto Repair & Sales in Virginia with the help of Hans Achter, owner of Vanaru https://www.vanaru.com/.
- New alternator and belt.
- New timing belt and idlers.
- New radiator and hoses.
- New radiator fan switch.

The interior, original upholstery included, is immaculate, pet free, no funky odors, tears or stains.

-Rust repair to drivers side footwell (cut out footwell, sandblasted, new steel replacement welded-in and repaint)
