This is Vern, a 1983 Aircooled Westie, the van is a manual with somewhere around 300,000 miles (odometer stopped spinning). Vern was overhauled at 173,000 and has undergone routine maintenance and upgrades. I bought this van in 2019 in Vancouver, WA and have traveled to Utah and back to Oregon with her and now lives in Cedar City, UT. Vern has been an amazing adventure and I have put a lot of love into making it a great vacation rig. Furthermore, since my move I haven't been able to cherish and use the van like I'd hoped and want to find a new home for her. I have put a lot of time and effort into this van, including meticulous maintenance (performing regular oil changes, replacing the battery within the last two months, regular tune ups, etc.). The van does start a bit rough time starting and I recently changed out the fuel pressure regulator, thermal timing switch, cylinder head temp sensor, and fuel pump and am still trying to diagnose the issue. Someone who has experience or interest in working on a van like this would be a great fit to buy her.
