Description
2010 Gulf Stream SuperMax 6341 Cummins 6.7L with only 55572 miles!
I purchased this RV in December 2017 in Tucson, AZ. I wont sugarcoat itits been a love-hate relationship and IT STILL HAS SOME ISSUES, which I think is pretty common in the RV world. But Ive poured hundreds of hours into this thing, making improvements and upgrades. Its come a long way from where it started.
By far the best thing about it is under the hood. Diesel with "ZERO EMISSIONS!!"
Background:
-The cab and chassis were originally built by Dodge, with a manufacture date of 2008 per the VIN.
-Sterling then extended the frame, upgraded the engine, rebranded it, and sold it to Gulf Stream.
-Gulf Stream completed the house build, and it was ultimately titled and sold as a 2010 model.
Travel History:
-Weve put this Supernova to good use. Its been from Tucson through California to Utah, then on to Indianapolis and back, Denver and back a couple times, Bend, Oregon, and multiple trips to Quartzsite, AZ. Its also been on numerous local camping trips here in Utah.
Major Upgrades & Modifications:
Suspension & Chassis:
-2" spacer lift in front, 2" block lift in rear
-Rear airbags (no onboard compressorused with portable Ryobi inflator)
-Replaced rear hitch with a stronger, higher-clearance model
-Reinforced chassis with a custom-fabricated I-beam
-Added custom step brackets for firmer cab step support

-Removed lower bunk from the slide-out to create interior/exterior storage
-Moved the bunk window to the kitchen wall for a better view
-Added two 12V TVs (front and rear) and a custom-built TV cabinet across from the couch
-Upgraded DVD stereo system for the Main TV and installed a Pioneer DVD double-din head unit in the cab.
-Replaced entry door window with tinted window + built-in pull-down shade
Mechanical/Utility:

Performance:
-BD Diesel intercooler and intake horn (factory upgrade)
-S&B cold air intake
-EFI Live single-tune installed for better drivability and power
Misc:
-Rearview camera with in-dash monitor
Im sure Ive forgotten a few things, but this gives a pretty solid overview.
We are selling to move back to a 5th Wheel and a Truck.
It currently has 2 soft spots in the floor that will need to be addressed. If it does not sell quickly, I will be taking it to an RV shop to have them look at that.
It still could use some interior work for it to be "complete," but I just do not have time.
If you don't mind a great RV with some projectsthis is the rig for you.
