Just returned from a two month cross country adventure in this View and all systems are go! Before heading out we replaced the tires with Michelins, had a full transmission service, recaulked all seams, added Apple care play system to dash unit and replaced interior stereo unit and outdoor speakers, replaced chassis battery and house batteries. She performed admirably and we had a great time! You should give it a try! Life is short!
